Can a mother tincture be replaced with the closest dilution?

Hello everyone,

Here in Paris, it has become almost impossible to get a mothet tincture of any medicine. Whenever the pharmacies order it from labs, the labs refuse.

I was wondering, can the mother tincture be replaced with the closest dilution? If yes, what dilution would it be? 1x? 1c? 1dh?

For example, I need Carduus Marianus mother tincture but they don't sell it anymore, but I can have any dilution I want, so xhich dilution should I ask for?

Thanks beforehand.
