Aggravation Length

Hi!

Just wanted to see how long an aggravation should last? And if in chronic cases- it is normal to go on for weeks. Even a month.

Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Generally when a patient reports aggravation from a remedy the homeopath suggests an appropriate antidote on the basis of presenting symptoms. This settles down the issue.

Does that stop the curative effect of the remedy? Or just the aggravation?

A homeopath giving the remedy doesn't know how far the remedy can go. Similarly he doesn't know how far the antidote may go.
One can argue both ways. One may say that the antidote will just correct the ill effects of the remedy. One may also say that it will apply brakes to the whole corrective action by the remedy.
Many homeopaths reject the whole concept of antidote, they always focus on totality of symptoms.
