Info on some rare homeopathics
Hello. Does anybody know anything about Bismuthum Bromatum and Platina Iodata Magn.? My homeopath gave me these two and i cant find any info, they are not so common.Thank you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The problem with most of these 'rare' remedies is that they have not been proved. They are mainly prescribed on some 'new' theories of the periodic table. Jan Scholten is the name of the guy who has extensively written about these theories.
While I personally do not agree with prescribing remedies based on theoretical predictions, some homeopaths claim that they have had success with them.
To each his own, I suppose..

However, one thing is surely true. Any good homeopath should NOT be giving you two remedies at the same time.

Yes but are Bis-brom and Plat-iod-mag being given both ? Even if they are being alternated, this is against what true homeopathy is.

Sometimes homeopaths give nux alone to open a case, and or give sulphur alone to open a case, either
Because they think it is a needed remedy or wanting to clear other drugs. Using both is a technique some call "scrubbing" the system.
"Scrubbing" is not accepted by most homeopaths who follow Hahnemann.
And I Have never seen it used more than a few days in a row. Fyi
