Attn: DrKulkarni: Neck pain with headache
Dear Sir,For last 12 years I have neck pain, diagnosed 8 years ago as cervical spondylitis with starting degree disc changes at 3-4 neck discs. physio therepy was suggested. I took aurvedic medicines as well with oil message when i have pain episode.
Around the same time i have Urinary Track Infection and fever then came to know i have tendency to form small stones in kidneys. After a week i got fever treated and asked to take more water and check up every year KUB scan for stones. Since all these years nothing observed except mild Hydro nephorsis at times for which no treatment suggested.
This year I had stress related
headache and fatty grade 1 liver changes.
For Liver function Test SGPT or ALT is 179IU/L
SGOT or AST 144 IU/L
Suggested to take de-stress tablet (sarotena at nights) and Udiliv 300 for 2 months and avoid food items having salts as preservatives.
Last 2 weeks i have headache again with bad feeling smell in left nose while inhaling air. I was told i also need to take Sinusitis medicines though smell is unrelated. I was also asked to take Gaba 300 for 2 weeks and Neurobian for a month to strengthen nerve system.
My symptoms like headache/bad smells are aggravating while investigating/analyzing software issues.
Kindly advice me for over all

You confessed that most of your health problems are almost resolved.
Your Kidney / urine problem is due to (as per info provided by you) Poly-cystic Kidney which is a congenital (by birth) problem. It is unlikely to improve.
In this situation what do you expect from me?

Respected Doctor, Thanks for your reply Sir.Its encouraging.
I think, so far I am managing all my issues resorting to multiple techniques/medicines.But never able to cure myself totally.
Now, I want to know 2 things clearly. Firstly, do i need to use any constitutional medicine for my condition if so which medicine.
If its not accurate to suggest correct medicine over an internet forum like this, please suggest me how should i know about my constitution and related constitutional medicine.
Secondly any bio-chem salts for my condition.
I am not getting neck pain as often like last year, but X-ray which i took this week shows still there is cartilage problem and slight erosion there in neck bones could cause nerve pressing.
Currently i have headache (on left side). Earlier headache episode doesn't come along with neck pain. And this time i have neck pain as well- its more of nerve pressing rather than muscle pain.
I am not sure if headache is stress related only or due to nerve pressing in neck region. slight reeling sensation is there at times. Headache is coming slowly,staying but going suddenly. I have lack of sleep.
Only hoemo doctor suggested ( i couldn't continue any medicine with him as i told that I am moving to many metros over a decade) as my kidney and neck issues started same year they are related and they both could be due to one issue- calcium not positing correctly on neck bones, so the same is causing small kidney stones/sediments passing. I don't know if any such case is possible.
My current medication:
I took Belladona 200 i dose. Avina sativa Q 10 drops mixed in 1 cup water today. Cocculus Indicus 200 one dose.
I am using neck collar again for neck support. Inhaleing steam to clear sinusistis causing dead bactirial mass if anything is there inside nose causing bad smell.
Due to whatever reasons i have, I am not sure if i took any medicine full course correctly and completely. I am never living for long in one metro, so never in touch with any single doctor and doctors whom i met so far not giving prescription and revealing my medicine names for me to buy it elsewhere or helping me to handover my case to other doctors in other places.
Now I am resorting to self study. Can you suggest me and to like minded readers, what a non medical person can read in homeo literature and if so in which order. Is there a thread already on this forum about it?

As I mentioned earlier your kidney and urine related problem is due to a condition "Polycystic Kidney". This is generally a congenital defect (by birth). In other words a manufacturing defect. So, in allopathy, there is no cure for this. Your BP, kidney stone, foamy urine, etc. is also related to this kidney problem.
In early life this disorder doesn't cause any problem. it generally gets detected in early or mid adulthood either because of the minor health problems it causes or during routine sonography.
I am opining all this from the health info I get from your posts. For confirmation you may consult some good Nephrologist.
As age advances the kidney functions start getting affected more and more. So, it is advisable to be little more careful right from the time it is detected.
For this either homeopathy or ayurved are the only hope.
Presently I am managing couple of similar cases at my clinic since last 3 yrs. They are doing well so far. The main aim here is to maintain the kidney at it's best and postpone deterioration of the kidney functions. However, I am also trying to remove the cysts in kidney but that is absurd at this stage. It is like trying to change shape of the nose with homeo medicines. But still doing my level best.
For this you need a constitutional medicines from a competent homeopath. A constitutional remedy might also help to relieve some of your other problems like neck pain, sleep.
I would advise you to not venture into self medication because all qualified homeopaths also cannot handle such cases. This may cause more harm too. so, please refrain self medication.

Thanks Sir. So far my urologists are always saying its simple type cyst but not poly-cystic. So nothing suggested. However i take your point. Let me get back to you on taking medicine from you as i believe in traditional homeopathy.

Dear Doctor: Pranams. Just an update:
I could get rid of bad smell/bad breath on the nose after taking Kali Phos 6x for a month and kali phos 3X once in bi-weekly (bio-chem salts).
My pain in lower right back region reduced a lot after i took Natrum Sulph 12X daily 2-3 times. BP is now lesser than before. Sugar level is 170 (2 hrs post break fasting). All other reports are normal.
My head ache is also reduced after taking migraine tablets Sibelium 10 mg daily.
Neck pain is lot less after daily application of massage oils.

Thanks Sir for your kind direction. I am okay now. May i continue to scout for full recovery of neck pain (i am targetting X ray to confirm improvements) and totally free myself from back pain/foamy urine.
I heard unless i append with miasmstic medicine these improvements may not lost long. so far i am told i could use calc flour 1M (homeo not tissue ). Does it fits my miasms? or do need some more study before i decide?. I saw below link talking about miasms..do you suggest it a try ?

In all chronic problems miasmatic consideration is mandatory. But this is very expert level job that needs in depth medical, homeopathic knowledge and experience. One should also know how to follow up after prescribing miasmatically.
As of now you may try a single dose of Calc flor 1M single dose and see how that works for you.
