Hungry all the time

I have always been a "good eater" - I can easily eat more than my husband! Luckily I am quite active, so I am not obese or even majorly overweight. But lately my appetite has become almost uncontrollable. I especially crave carbohydrates - baked goods especially. It doesn't help that I adore baking (there's a pumpkin spice cake in the oven now). I am also majorly stressed out at work (I am a biology professor). I need to get my appetite under control or my clothes will no longer fit me. Except for tinnitus, I have no other medical problems. Is there some remedy I can try?

iodium 1000 one dose evening time and to be repeated only after 10 days.

Thank you for your rapid reply. First of all, I do not see that potency listed as being available. I carefully read the description of the remedy and that doesn't seem to fit my situation at all. Is this a case where a low potency has one effect and a higher one has the opposite?

As per books, Iodium patient emaciates even while having good appetite and eating large amounts of food. I have no experience with this remedy.

Dr. Akshaymohl is perhaps aware of its secondary action. Let us wait for his clarification.

voracious appetite and not obese and fatty only indicates one dose to be repeated if required.

It seems due some translation issues that the first part of your post saying not obese and big appetite was what was understood to be the problem.

The problem now is voracious hunger and weight gain.

Dear kt108.

Not a remedy suggestion, but wondering about candida overgrowth.

There are test strips in the drug stores for this, and also vaginal symptoms can be non existent.
Candida will make you crave the carbs and sweets.

What may help you is go protein, and veg with as much fat as you want.
Fat will not spike blood sugar and leaves you satisfied. You can have a couple servings of plain yogurt that will start to balance the gut bacteria .

Little by little if you adjust diet, I think
You will get back to balance.
