Hipersoc's problem is a purely or at least majorly an example of occupational hazard. I have had experience with several such cases and seen that medicines alone wouldn't help unless some lifestyle modifictations are strictly followed. Just for example, even if he goes on vacation for a week he would feel relieved but as he resumes his routines he is likely to have these problems return.

antivirus, you may prescribe and persue the case but I would like to suggest some regimen to him.

hipersoc,

1. Take breaks during your work; every 45 minutes for 1-2 minutes. Preferably, leave your seat and try to briskly climb up and down strair for 1 minute.

2. During your work - do neck and eye exercises alternately every 15 minutes.
For neck: move it briskly but without jerks right-left, tilt right left, tilt up-down at least 20 times each.
For eyes: Look at distant objects through window (birds in the sky etc.). move eyeballs briskly but without jerks right-left, both diagonals, tilt up-down and in circles both directions at least 20 times each.

3. Eat 3-4 times a day but only 75% of your average appetite. never munch anything in between. Cut down carbs to half, junks to nil, reduce spicy and fried items, include varieties of raw vegitables, etc.

4. During your non working hours / days avoide using computer / watching TV / movies / mobiles AFAP. Instead, spend more time outdoors, for sports and games. occassionaly go on vacations.

This is all for lifetime. unfortunately no shortcuts for this. Medicines do help but to a limit. Lifestyle blunders are not pardonable.

Best of luck.

Prakrti: Pitta-Vata

Your prakrti, the physical constitution with which you were born, is a mix of Pitta and Vata, with Pitta slightly predominant. This is an unchanging characteristic and represents your natural, normal state of being. Let's take a look at some of the common qualities of Pitta-Vata individuals.

Physically, Pitta individuals tend toward medium features: medium build, medium height, medium everything. Vata individuals tend to be thin and wiry, with small, light bones and uneven development. Your Vata influence has probably stretched you a little off of the medium scale, but not too much.

Pittas tend to be fiery individuals (Pitta is the fire dosha), with aggressive, competitive natures and a tendency toward anger and irritability. The airy Vata influence in your prakrti tends to lighten those tendencies. Vata also increases your creativity and may make you lighter on your feet than a pure Pitta type.

On the down side, Vata introduces a note of anxiety to your normally confident Pitta nature, and may negatively affect both your spending habits and your ability to stay on task.

Pittas tend to gain and lose weight with equal ease, distributing it evenly around the body. Vatas have to work to gain weight and tend to put anything they gain on the belly. Because your predominant dosha is Pitta, you probably don't have much of a weight problem, but be aware of Vatas gain-in-the-middle tendency, especially since Pitta-Vatas love to eat.

This is the physical constitution (prakrti) with which you were born. It gives you some idea of your tendencies, and your physical strengths and weaknesses. Now let's take a look at your current dosha state to see if you are balanced or imbalanced.
Vikrti: Pitta Imbalance

Vikrti is a state of imbalance in which one of the three bodily humors or doshas is excessive. In your case, you have an excess of the Pitta dosha. Pitta is the fire dosha (a mix of fire and water).

Ayurveda lists forty diseases that are caused by aggravated Pitta. Though not as dangerous as an aggravated Vata condition, a Pitta imbalance is nothing to sneeze at. Being the fire element, Pitta is responsible for the metabolic activities of the body. Pitta combines fire as the energy of change with water as the agent of change. Thus, Pitta imbalances tend to create illnesses related to metabolic disturbances and problems with certain bodily fluids.

Pitta ailments include:

Fevers and excessive perspiration
Foul body odors and bad breath
Jaundice
Bleeding and a tendency to bleed
Cracking of the skin and itching
Genital herpes
Inflammation of the anus, penis, in fact, any inflammation (diseases ending in -itis)
Excessive thirst, excessive urination, diarrhea
Burning sensations in the chest, body, or skin
Acid indigestion, reflux, gastritis, peptic ulcers
Skin warts

Anything that increases stress or adds heat to the body can cause or aggravate a Pitta imbalance. Things to avoid include:

Alcohol and drugs, particularly hallucinogenic drugs
Tobacco (but then, you should avoid this anyway)
Too much sun
Excessive indulgence, too much competitive activity (such as sports)
Hot, spicy foods
Too much sex

Put simply, stop overdoing things.

The best treatment for aggravated Pitta is to slow down and cool off. Eat cool foods, especially those with sweet, bitter, or astringent tastes. Look for opportunities to cool off: walks when the breeze is cool, pleasant conversation in a shady spot, quiet time. Drink plenty of water.

When choosing activities, try to choose sports that are less competitive, such as individual sports (hiking, biking, etc.), or sports that promote team effort over individual competition. Because Pitta is related to vision, good remedies for aggravated Pitta include beautiful scenery or art, flowers, or a cool walk on a moonlit night.

Pitta is most powerful between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. as well as in the hot summer months. Avoid exercise or strenuous activity during these periods. Meditation can help, especially in the evening before bed.

For more help, enter your name and email address in the spots provided at the end of this page. Pressing the Send button will send a copy of these results to us. We'll take a look at it, and respond with further suggestions for ways to regain your doshic

People want quick fixes. They don't want to follow even simple tips like the ones you suggested.

They want a magic pill. :-(

""This is all for lifetime. unfortunately no shortcuts for this. Medicines do help but to a limit. Lifestyle blunders are not pardonable"".

That's why the last sentence in my post; it says all. I have seen several people running behind "magic pills" and losing health for worse. I am here to provide genuine advice. Taking or not is their wish.

I have seen those hwo didn't follow this in time sooner or later, moving around with staggering gait with collors, belts, high focal eye glasses, etc. Some even bed ridden!

Dear Doctor Kulkarni,

Ofcourse.

I highly respect the comments what you gave and I have already started following. Just curious only about the dizziness even after walking for 45 minutes a day.

I would certainly follow the steps you gave.

hipersoc 7 years ago
Dear hipersoc,
.
That's great! It's all for your good. Keep some patience, your dizziness is effect of long practiced faulty lifestyle; the cause has gone deep. You will see changes gradually in few days.
Remember, Constructive work is more difficult & time consuming than Destructive.

All the best.

Could anyone help how does this pitta etc fit in with Kent Repertory? How this concept can be made use of?

radhey1504 7 years ago
You can take pitta prakruti as bilious temperament but before concluding you should differentiate if it is only biliousness or temparament through more homeopathic interogation.

Of course, ther is difference in homeopathic & ayurvedic evaluation method.

DrKulkarni 7 years ago
One month and a mile long questionnaire- GONE. I tried making sense out of it and failed. I doubt antivirus understands the trash he collected from hipersoc.
Hipersoc also gone into hibernation. Much is wrong.
In case hipersoc is still unwell and seeks help let him stick to GERD only.I do not think all symptoms pertain to GERD only. From the post it appears hipersoc is only a hypochondriac.

radhey1504 7 years ago
Radhey,
Your post could be considered rude.
That is against forum rules.

Everyone has their own way to talk to patients. Antivirus has helped many people on here- his form works for him.

Calling someone a hypochondriac is hurtful. Lifestyle and diet changes could solve most of the problems here. Gerd is very painful and can mimic a heart attack. I have seen people get this from eating chocolate every night- over time they get too acidic and gerd stopped when they got educated about acidic diet.
