respected doctor, when my daughter was 4 years old, a homeopathic doctor, had given her hepar sulphur200c BD for ten days and tuberculinum200 in alternate days for 15 days for regular caugh cold problem..after completion of this, he again gave tuberculinum200 for alternate days for next 15 days..during this time she had started urticaria..Now she is 7 years old but she is still suffering from chronic urticaria..and on alopathic treatments since that time..many times i have to give steriods as well.. kindly inform that is this problem happened due to over dosages of these homeopathic medicine..if yes how long these effects will persist.. is still possible to antidote effects of these medicines..[message edited by rahul10 on Mon, 22 Aug 2016 10:51:51 UTC]

CHIEF COMPLAINT:
1. My daughter is suffering from chronic urticaria since May2013 (when she was 4 years old), Which were triggered duringthe above prescribed homeopathic drugs, At this time she were suffering to normal cough cold problem..
So we immediately consulted to allopathic doctors for 1 months and gave some treatments but the problem were not cured..then we consulted to homeopathic doctor they had given NAXVOMICA and some other drugs..when she were not getting well then we again switched to allopathic treatment..since that time she is on allopathic treatments.
During such urticaria episodes she has red rashes all over the body with incensed itching and some time burning also. Sometimes ,she also have swelling on lips and joints as well..
Allopathic doctors have done almost all tests but not able to conclude the cause..
Initially this problem were happened every day even were not controlled with many anti histaminic drugs as well.
Now for last six months she seems to be better as we have stopped all antihistaminic drugs and she gets very few rashes..but whenever she suffered from any viral infections suddenly the urticaria problem is also triggered simultaneously. This problem is also triggered when having fever and during weather transition.
What should be the cause of this problem.. is this problem happened due to over dosages of these homeopathic medicine (Hepar sulphur200c and tuberculinum200)..
if yes how long these effects will persist.. is still possible to antidote effects of these medicines.
I have consulted to a homeopathic doctor, he said due to repeated and high dosage of heparin sulph, her immune system is treating everything like any food, dust etc as foreign body and responding for creating IgE, that in turn does urticaria.
Her current IgE count is 780..

Wait it out. It is best to allow the natural immunity develop. As the episodes are becoming lesser in frequency, the problem is likely to resolve on its own.
The chronic urticaria problem of children is likely to resolve as they grow older.

Of course,there was overdosage.But we can't straightaway attribute the urticaria to it. May be or may not.
When the natural immunity is developing, better not to disturb it.
An occasional antihistamine won't do any harm.

A dose of Rhus tox 1m should be given. And wait if urticaria flares up then give rhus tox 1m three times a day. Urticaria should start healing.

Better to wait. Keep observing the frequency. If the gap between attacks is steadily increasing, wait it out.

sir, Whether such overdosage's of hepar200c and tuberculinum200 could also cause any autoimmune disorders as these are used to trigger/boost the immune system, because my daughter also has very freqquent infections like viral, Urinary tract infection, cough & cold etc..

Since it has been almost 3 years after that prescription was stopped, I don't think they are still acting in a harmful way.
If you are still doubtful, stop all homeopathic medications for a week, and let her smell camphor everyday for a week.
That should antidote the effects of homeopathic medicines, if any.

ok sir, Right now i am not giving any homeopathic drugs since last 2 years. and she is on alopathic drugs like loratadine and atarax..
Is it also possible that her urticaria problem may be related to any autoimmune disorders...

Are you giving her anti allergic allopathic remedies and waiting for immune system to develop.
I can't understand this phenomena.
My recommendation is to use homeopathic remedies which do not supperess immunity.

Sir, i am not giving any homeopathic drugs to her for last 2&1/2 years and she is on allopathic treatment...
Since doctors also wants to know the cause that's how the urticaria was triggered..so i just ask you that could the overdosage's of homeopathic drugs may be the cause at that time(3 years back) or not..
And at that time such overdose could also lead to any autoimmune disorders or not..
Kindly provide me the answer so that i can decide whether i should continue the current allopathic treatments or if the triggering cause was such overdosage of homeopathic drugs,then i can again switch the treatments to homeopath, as it might be yet possible to antidote the harms caused at that time

Dear Rahul it is common problem of eczema and urticaria in children.
If homeopathy triggered the problem out on the skin it was a good symptom. Do not suppress the eczema or urticaria again into body with allopathic it can cause more complications.

Though I do not entirely agree I feel gavinimurthy knows what he's saying.But then no two homeopaths prescribe same remedy. Point remains: why is the child still not fully well? I think it is time SALTS took over.I shall like to help if need be.

Is it still very common and normal problem?

You can stop camphor smelling after a week. Give a gap of two weeks and come back.
We will try to find a solution to urticaria problem, homeopahically, without side effects.

Do you need my help? In my view for children SALTS should be preferred. She has smelled enough of camphor. If you want i could prescribe. The cure is not a quickfix.

contd: Pls try stating symptoms/ manifestations/ as on date in simple terms avoiding medical terminology.Condition today.Who diagnosed it as urticaria?

thank you sir for your interest.. I have consulted to many allopathic and few homeopathic doctors.. they all concluded it as chronic urticaria..Right now her frequency for severe episodes has become lessened but not completely resolved she still have few(one or two) petches every day, but they subside automatically without giving any anti histaminic drugs, but now she becomes very prone to infections and whenever she gets infected at that time the urticaria also trigerred simultaneously..
