This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It's safe to take!I took tuberculinum too and I have no problem. It's only a nosode very disolved in water like any other homeopathic remedy, and it hasn't got any adverse reacts.Just take it as your doctor prescribed.

There are many varieties of Tuberculinum but the common thing is that they are all disease product. They are prepared from birds, cows and birds suffering from tuberculosis.
Tuberculinum is indicated :
1 when there is history of tuberculosis in the family history.
2. When medicines act but cannot hold the case . (Continuous relapses)
3. When symptoms keep on changing calling for different remedies.
It is generally prescribed in high potency like 10 m in case of adults. It is not very effective in lower or medium latencies. It must not be repeated too soon.
It is safe to take like any other homeopathic remedy.

On wikipedia I found this : 2. Tuberculins
2.1 Koch’s tuberculin
Tuberculin was fine powder of Mtb (obtained after mechanically comminuting the products
from a tubercle culture) brought into suspension, used in dilutions and sterilised by heating
it. T was injected subcutaneously in the back, between the shoulder-blades and the lumbar
region, for being the location where less local reactions (including pain) were recorded(Koch
1890). High doses were given in a schedule based in the inoculation of increasing doses. The
Understanding Tuberculosis – Analyzing the Origin of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Pathogenicity
inoculation of tuberculin was followed by the so-called „Reactions“, which in some cases
were large and quite severe, sometimes leading to death. Does that mean some people can die from tuberculin ?

It's made from tuberculin from cows. Only the Aviare remedy it's made up from tuberculin from birds. You can't die from tuberculinum because it's very diluted.Take it without fear!

Hi I am not a homeopath. These homeopathic remedies of potencies 30C,200C,1M,10M,50M do not have even a single atom of the original drug that are used at the start of preparing the dilutions. If you take some sample dilutions of Tuberculinum 200C and test it in a lab,you can find there is no medicine present at that potency in this dilution. But homeopaths believe that Homeopathy works.

If Homeopathic diutions work as expected, then why it failed in many clinical researches and the one recently done by NHMRC in Australia. They say from the research report that these dilutions would not work better than a placebo.
