Male Infertility - Low Sperm Count & Motility

I'm a 36 year old male and suffering from infertility. Based on some of the posts, I've tried to answer some questions that might help you. In case you need any other information from me, please let me know.



1. Age,sex,weight,body and face appearance, country, occupation.
36, Male, 84kg, 6ft, India, Software professional

2. Main complaints and other associated troubles.
a)Where is the trouble; The exact locality of the complaint like hands,legs etc; duration of trouble.
ANS. Low Sperm Count (10mil/cc) + Low Motility (15% Active, 10% Sluggish, 75% Non-Motile) + Erectile Dysfunction + Premature Ejaculation

b)What exactly do you feel, Sensation as pain, how pain feels or burn etc.
ANS. Anxiety

c)What are the factors that causes this trouble acc. to you.
ANS. Started masturbating very early (10yrs old)

d)What makes it worse/better; Condition under which the complaint is aggravated or you feel better like,cold or hot application,cold or hot weather,position as standing,walking,rest etc.
ANS. N/A

e)Any other complaint any where in the body.
ANS. Back-ache

f)Onset time of troubles in detail.
ANS. N/A

g)Treatment method adopted and its result.
ANS. None

h)Any other complaint any where in the body.
ANS. None

3. History of diseases in family.
ANS. N/A

4. Personal History.
a)About childhood.
ANS. Normal childhood

b)Academic performance.
ANS. Average Student. Failed once in 11th due to Maths.

c)Any major incidents in life and the effect of it on life.
ANS. Failed once. Went into depression. Would feel dejected and as if everybody is laughing at me. Then, worked hard and achieved university position in MCA as computers were my area of interest.

d)How you are satisfied with your sex life, friends, family members, company etc.
ANS. Married for 5 years. Not satisfied sexually as wife does not enjoy sex. Get intimate around once a week and sometimes once every fortnight. I day dream about sex with my wife and even other females and masturbate. I have good family support. Left my job to start my own software business but not doing very good as per my capabilities due to my lazy and complacent attitude.

5. Habits/Addiction.
a)Smoking, Alcohol,Sleeping pills, Laxative etc.
ANS. Non-smoker, No alcohol, No sleeping pills, No laxative. Addicted to Porn videos and stories.

b)Masturbation and frequency.
ANS. Started masturbating very early (10 yrs old). Sometimes used to do it twice a day. Now, it is irregular and around once or twice a week.

6. How is your Appetite and Thirst.
ANS. Appetite is normal. Feel thirsty but don't drink much water (lazy)

7. Likes and Dislikes.
a)ANS.

Likes: Salty, Fried food, Ice cream, Chocolate, Coffee
Dislikes: Non-veg, Alcohol

b)Anything else about likes and dislikes.
ANS. I like to help others and want everybody to have a very good impression of me. I have a soft nature and cannot refuse somebody if they ask for help. Sometimes, my wife fights with me for this as she says that nobody will help you when you will need it.

8. Bowel movements.
a)Nature of stool, frequency, satisfactory or not.
ANS. No problem. Generally once a day in the morning.

b)Any discomforts associated with stool.
ANS. None

9. Urine.
a)Frequency, nature, volume.
ANS. 2 to 3 times a day.

b)Any discomfort before, during or after urination/odour
ANS. Sometimes, feel burning sensation after urination if I hold back for some time. Also, after watching porn, my urine creates foam in the flush and has a distinct odour which I feel is due to seminal fluids.

10. For men.
a)Any difference in erection/want of erection/weak erection/Ejaculation early/late.
ANS. Weak erection and early ejaculation.

b)Any other trouble in sex.
ANS. Low Sperm Count (10mil/cc) + Low Motility (15% Active, 10% Sluggish, 75% Non-Motile)

11. For Females.
a)Menses, Regular, Irregular,Early, Late.
ANS.
b)Duration of menses.
ANS.
c)Nature of flow, Scanty, Blood colour, Consistency, Odour, Staining, itching/ when and what makes it worse/better.
ANS.

12. Sleep.
a)The quality of sleep: GOOD (Around 7-8 hours)
the quietness or restlessness of sleep: Need no disturbance (Light or sound)
position of sleep: On my side
times of waking and reasons for waking: Normal
need for cover over various parts of the body: Normal. Only if I feel cold.
whether the window must be open or closed etc.: No issues
common dreams, peculiar sounds or gestures during sleep, etc. : Normal


13. Sweat
a)How much, what parts, staining, Odour.
ANS. I sweat a lot. Mostly on my face, arms and torso. No staining. Mild odour

14. Weather
a)Tolerance to heat and cold, dryness, humidity, weather changes, sun,
foggy weather, wind drafts, closed rooms, etc.
ANS. I like cold weather and even foggy. No issues with isolation as well and can stay alone in a closed room.

15. Mental Status
a)The quality of the patient's life in relationship to loved ones, family, friends and colleagues. Overall quality of energy available to function in daily life, and under various circumstances.
ANS. Qualiy of life is OK otherwise. Nice and helpful family, no pressures. But don't have any friend circle as most of my friends have moved abroad. So, social outings are with family only.

b)Any mental/emotional shocks occurring in the patient's life-grief, major financial losses separation from loved ones, death, identity crisis and other stress in life.
ANS. Only mental shock has been the infertility as we are trying to start a family.

c)Memory,ability to concentrate/comprehend.
ANS. Memory is OK. Remember instances but forget names sometimes. No problem with concentration.

d)Are you fearful of anything eg: Animals, people, being alone, darkness, death, disease, robbers, thunder, storm, high places.
ANS. Have a little fear of animals especially dogs (was bitten once) and snakes. But it is more like a caution rather than a phobia as I can pet a friendly dog.

e)Are you anxious about anything: if yes, give details.
ANS. No

f)Are you impatient.
ANS. Yes.

g)Are you doubtful or suspicious.
ANS. Not generally. But if I come to know that a person has lied to me, then I'm always suspicious. I try hard not to but its like in my nature.

h)Are you hurt easily (emotionally)how do you react. Does it cause hatred/revenge.
ANS. Yes, I get hurt easily but I try not to show that I'm actually hurt. Its like a psychological game which I play and show that I'm not affected even if I feel bad. Will go into my shell and after sometime (an hour or a day) try to come out of it. Only in some cases, I'll have an verbal outburst but no feeling of hatred or revenge.

i)Does your pride get hurt easily.
ANS. Yes. I always want to have the best impression.

j)Are you depressed, if so, reason/circumstances.
ANS. Not generally but these days due to my infertility problem.

k)Do you like to share your problems.
ANS. No. I'm a very private person. Don't like to share my problems. Otherwise, I'll talk to everybody but some things are just private to me.

l)Effect of consolation.
ANS. Soothing

m)Do you ever become suicidal when? How.
ANS. Once, when I failed in my finals in 11th. Did not try anything but wanted to do so. At that time, I was seriously into depression.

n)Memory- quality if poor, for what ( eg. Names, places, people, what you read).
ANS. Names, Places

o)Do you weep easily, effect of weeping, ie, does it make you worse or better.
ANS. Do not weep easily. It makes me feel better

p)Are you easily irritated. What makes you angry, how do you express it.
ANS. Yes if somebody bugs me about same thing again and again. If I'm wrong, tell me once or twice. If somebody repeatedly says the same, then I get irritated. I express it by verbal spat.

q)Are you destructive.
ANS. No

r)How good are you in making decisions.
ANS. I can take decisions on my own. Don't ask for help.

s)Do you like company or like to remain alone.
ANS. Like company. But if I'm sad or depressed, then I like to be alone.

t)How seriously are you affected by disorder and uncleanness in your surroundings.
ANS. Not much.

u)How does failure appear to you?
ANS. It brings negative energy. Feel bad and depressed

v)Are there any matters that you deeply dislike?
ANS. Lies

w)What activities you deeply like? How does it affect your mood?
ANS. I like to watch comedy. Also, I like to travel.

x)Are you affectionate? How does others sorrow affect you?
ANS. Yes. Try to help others in a way I can.

y)Any present fear in your life or future.
ANS. None

z)Any present life or future life desire.
ANS. Currently, to have a child. In future, to make it big and successful.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Staphysagaria 200 daily one dose for five days.then weekly one dose for one month.Damiana Q 10 drops in two table spoon of water three times daily for one month.on every Sunday evening time selenium 200 one dose.

Thanks a lot. Will start it today itself. Just wanted to clarify that Damiana Q10 drops have to start with Staphysagaria or after its course has been completed?

After 5 days .On weekly dayof selenium and stapht pl ddonor take Damiana.
