Dr. Mohla Seroma fluid

I had back surgery on the lumbar area. I had a lamenectomy and at the incision site developed a sac of fluid around the incision. Went to dr office he drained and wrapped. That didn't work so went back to hospital and had another MRI to see if it indicated spinal fluid leak-didn't show. Dr. attempted to insert lumbar drain but was unsuccessful. I decided to try to see if it would dissipate-so far it has not gotten bigger and seems to come and go from smaller to larger. I want to know what remedy might help the body to absorb this fluid so the incision can heal and seal any leaks. I am putting ice on incision site on my lumbar area about 3 times a day. I am not taking anything for this except for pain which i am not taking any pain meds-i want to know how my body is reacting. Hope you can help thanks
