Gossypium herbaceum

please, i'd like to know if gossypium herbaceum is hormone therapy.

My doctor gave it to me in order to diminush bleeding and pain during periods but another doctor said it' s not a good medicine since it is like taking hormones and can be prejudicial for me. Igot confused since they are both homeopaths. I would like to know what the practicioners of this site think about it

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

it is not a hormone or hormone like remedy. it is also not a well proved remedy. there are very few symptoms. the medicine is rarely used.
