tmj pain

My 24 year old dtr was in a car accident 2 years ago...air bags caused her to strike her left side of jaw into the door frame.. Since then almost daily jaw pain starting in the joint proceeding down the bottom jaw to the chin. Now both sides of mouth. Also headaches 4-5 times weekly at top of back of head and down neck. DX with TMJ from trauma. Muscles ifn face ache...on muscle relaxers 3x daily and pain pills for head... Unable to work due to pain... Chiro/physio/massage/laser and accupuncture not effective. Wears a mouth splint nightly to bring lower jaw forward to alleviate pain...specialists say mouth needs to "learn" new normal position then pain will go. Can't yawn without pain, no chewy foods.. Trying tumeric 100 mg daily and tramudeel for pain....just started 3 tabs of rhus tox 6c twice a day...ideas?
