Pleomorphic Adenoma
I am suffering from pleomorphic adenoma since a very young age. I get multiple nodes/lesions on my parotid gland which increase in size and have ti be removed surgically. i have undergone surgery twice already and have gone through the trauma on facial palsey. i am now again on the brink of another surgery and would like to know if homeopathy has any treatment options for pleomorphic adenoma. I would like to avoid surgery if possible. Please advice.imkrati on 2015-01-29

Please find below my responses to your questions. Please let me know in case you need any other info:
Name - Krati Dhoot
2 Age - 30yrs
3 sex - Female
4 Height and Weight - 5ft 5inches, 72 kgs
5 Main problem- I have 2-3 nodes on my left parotid gland which are increasing in size over time. There is no pain in the nodes. I have had this problem twice before and have been operated in 1995 and 2000. the biopsy of the nodes in the above surgeries was clean. Currently the size of the main node has become more than double in the past 1.5 yrs. During this last 1.5 yrs( and I will probably have to opt for a third surgery in case i am not able to find any other way to manage it.
6 Any other problem: I am currently suffering from an acute allergic reaction to metals triggered by a recurrent urine infection. I am taking Allegra 180 tablet- 1 nos- everyday for that.
7 The problem is better or worse from (heat/cold/movement/rest/pressure) - non of these things affect the problem in any manner
8.Appetite and thirst (excessive/ normal/less) with likes and dislikes for different tastes and food. - my appetite is slightly on the excessive side with a clear preference towards carbohydrates (like cakes and breads) and sweets
9 Preference for climate (hot/moderate/cold/dry/wet) - moderate
10 quantity and quality of sleep with preffered position. - my sleep requirement is appoximately 8 hrs a day. I am slightly sleep deprived as I have a 6 month old baby but quality of sleep in general is good. i prefer to sleep on my side.
11 dreams if any. - i dream frequently about many things and generally remember those dreams in fair amount of detail after waking up. I do not have any recurrant dreams.
12 Perspiration (how much and where) - normal perspiration except that I have very heavy perspiration around the area of my left ear and cheek when i eat
13 Stool (hard/soft/normal) and frequency. - once a day, hard
14 Urine (quantity/colour/frequency) difficulty if any.- every 3-4 hours normal color
15 Describe yourself as a person.- i am an ambitious, conscientitious and intelligent person. I have studied hard and have a very good job now at which i am doing quite well. My husband and son are my first priority.
16 Opinion of other people close to you about yourself (extremely helpful to the doctor if provided)- I am an intelligent,loving and caring person with some temper issues and ego problems
17 Family medical history (parents/ grand parents/brothers/sisters) - my grandfather had diabetes. My father has high blood cholestrol and high blood pressure
18 Treatment taken in the past. - i have taken intensive homeopathy (do not know which medicines) and accupressure treatments in the past. i have also take conium 30 and calcarea fluorica for this condition but these intensified my pre-existing poly cystic ovaries problem
19 present medication if any - currently i am not takng any medication
20. any other information you would like to provide.- I gave birth to a son by c section on 29th July 2014. my pregnancy and subsequent lactation period is when the nodes ore than doubled in size. I was taking calcium, iron and omega 3 supplements during pregnancy. I had PCOD and insulin resistance in the past. I have severe metal allergy triggered by urine infections

could you kindly explain your thought process if possible and also how many pills of Calcarea Carb 200 would constitute one dosage? Would it be possible to gauge how much time will this medicine will need to be taken to see any noticeable effect?

the logic behind selection of Calcarea Carb is like this : 1. it is a glandular problem from early age and calcarea has very strong affinity for glands at all ages but specially in the early part. 2. Your appetite is on the excessive side. 3.you are slightly overweight. 4. you have ovarian cyst.
3 or 4 pellets make one dose.
it is difficult to predict how much time will be required for cure but effect of the medicine should be evident within a week.
