Feline Lymphorrhea or Lymphectasis

Hi,

My cat is suffering from what a biopsy found to be lymphectasis. The vet wanted to do a biopsy because it is on her stomach near a nipple, but the scar has never healed and it is still leaking lymph fluid. In the beginning it looked like she had a tiny little bite mark from one of my other cats, but now, after the biopsy, it is a large red circle and sometimes bleeds along with the leaking of the lymph fluid. It never healed after the biopsy. It does sometimes appear to dry up a little.

She just let me put a little bit of antibiotic ointment on it, which I think is interesting. She usually gets upset if I try to examine it. She is a very independent cat, she doesn't like to be handled. She is not a lap cat, but will sit next to me and come to get affection. She regularly runs around playing a few times a week. She eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom as normal.

I just thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts before I try some Silicea 200ck that I have on hand because I can't find much of anything when I search for treatments.

So, thanks if you do :)

The discharge is clear, maybe a little yellow tinge to it. Her scar is bright pink after I put the ointment on it. Her tongue is pink.

Thanks for responding

Hi,

I know I posted this a while ago. I had to wait longer than I wanted to be able to purchase the medicine, but I finally was able to. I hope someone can still help me. I just finished the 15 days.

The only thing I noticed is that at some points the liquid might have been thicker and it looked like it was a whitish color on the area of the wound itself certain times when I would examine it. Also, I think it bled more more than usual. Today, it looks pink and it looked very wet when I was able to see it while she was cleaning it. Sometimes she makes a sound that seems like it is hurting her. Thank you for any guidance again :)

Hi,

Sorry I am a week late in posting the results, I have had computer trouble. Once the 15 days ended I just continued giving her the medicine.

Here are the results of the second round of 15 days. This time around it bled a lot more than it ever has. And while sometimes it would seem very wet, I think it was usually thicker. I have also noticed that she vocalizes as if she is in pain more when she re-positions herself when she is resting, I believe it rubs against her foot. I was wondering if I could add a remedy for pain?

Now that I'm into the third round, it is still bleeding, but it doesn't seem to be as much and it looks pink as of this moment.

Again, thank you so much, I appreciate your help.
