Hello,

I have been suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome- Constipation Predominant for over 5 years now since September 2009. My major symptoms are extreme constipation, excessive bloating and inability to essentially eat anything.

I have been under homeopathic treatment since start of October 2014. So it has now been 3.5 months. Although I see some improvement in my constipation now I don't see a substantial improvement in my bloatedness. I am still reacting to all foods, the most being dairy foods and spicy foods.

My homeopathic doctor has told me only to avoid dairy products and nothing else. Although, I myself am avoiding other foods like junk foods, alcohol, carbonated drinks, spicy foods, caffine, etc.

The medicines I have been prescribed are to take Pulsatilla 30 C 4 times a day and Lycopodium 200 C once at night.

Please kindly help to answer the questions below:

1)When should I expect to see a drastic change in my symptoms since currently I dont see a drastic change? Can it be after 2 more months, 3 more months....?


2)I am worried that if I am eating any wrong foods its hindering ability for medicine to act? But my homoepathic doctor told me homeopathic medicine will continue to work regardless of what you eat. Can someobody confirm this?

3)Additionally being stressed out due to IBS-C daily is natural. But will my constant stress prevent the medicine from working? Can somebody confirm this?

4)Is IBS-C complete cure possible by homeopathy and if so how long can it take? Will I be able to eat all the foods that I was able to before when I was normal?


5)What can I do to prevent recurrence of this IBS-C if I get cured?
