White dots on my private part

Hello Everyone,
I am Harish from India(small town near Bangalore).
I am 28 years old Male, height: 5'9", weight:85Kg and i am having Fordyce spots on my penis shaft, root

(literally too many spots) and scrotum.
Blood sugar normal, non-Diabetic, BP on little higher side(doctor told this is because of stress as it was

normal few days ago)
I am from traditional family and very shy to show/speak about this to doctor.
Now my parents are looking to get me married and when i think about this i am losing my self esteem.
I feel, some helpful people from this forum might help me out.

I thought it is normal for all male of my age and never thought its abnormal(Fordyce) spots. I was having

white dots since many years(nearly a decade). I used to think they are common to all as they were not very

prominent and not painful.

Now since i have access to internet from jan 2014, i started to explore more about it.
Now i know they are Fordyce spots. But i checked out many images but none are as prominant as mine.
1 year ago i foundout they are actually pus inside the skin. When i checked in google they say it is because

of cleanliness.
So from past one year I am taking special care about cleanliness to my penis(clean inside and out daily

twice morning and evening).

Also i have white dots on my lips-not very prominent.
Still i see no effect, they are still growing in numbers. Which prompted me to request for help.
Requesting you to provide names of medicines which are easily available(around bangalore/available online).

Thanks and Regards,
Harish

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try using Vinegar and see how it works for you.

Here is some info:

I recently got these white spots on my lips, and discovered that white vinegar helped my case after applying 2-3 times a day, after it dried I applied Vaseline on my lips, they disappeared in 3 days . IDK if itll work on everyone, but the spots haven't came back for months. Fordyce Spots are like a skin fungal infection and vinegar kills fungus, but if this doesn't help you can also try to apply jojoba oil on your skin or lips throughout the day and this is your daily routine.
Or you can try once or twice a week, at night , take a q-tip dipped in apple cider vinegar and roll across the area. Allow to dry and repeat this process for about 30 min. The next morning after, exfoliate with a warm wash cloth. try this remedy.

know how to get rid of it, but let us first consider the fact/s.

Fordyce spots are actually sebaceous glands that are improperly placed in the body. This means that sebaceous glands are not supposed to be there (lips), but they are. This condition is believed to be congenital but can appear later in life.

The white "spots" are there because the sebum (oil) in the gland can't get out. so the solution is to remove or "scrape" off the surface so that the oil can.

There are topical medications that can help do this, but the most readily available is vinegar. Just apply undiluted vinegar to the affected area. Apply again as soon as the vinegar dries. Keep doing this until the lip become pale/white. The outer surface will have softened by then, help remove it by gently rubbing the surface.

However, since the sebaceous gland will always be there, treatment must be repeated. But since this is more of a cosmetic concern than medical, this may be done only on special occasions.

Fordyce spots are caused by excess sebaceous glands on the shaft of the penis, around the corners of the lips or on the labia. They are usually a pale yellow colour and are very small, measuring around 1-5 mm. However, despite their appearance, doctors are quick to exclaim they are not harmful. Fordyce spots are also not a symptom of a sexually transmitted disease or any other form of illness. They are simply a glandular skin condition affecting approximately 30-50% of the population.

A lot of sufferers worry about new sexual partners seeing them and often ask about how to cure Fordyce spots. Getting rid of Fordyce spots is not always straight forward and people affected by the condition will have to be patient when undergoing any form of treatment. The length of treatment will usually depend on how severe the spots are for example.

One of the treatments available to treat Fordyce spots is Anti+Sebum. So how does it work? Sufferers are advised to clean the affected area thoroughly before applying a thin layer of the gel. This step will need to be repeated twice a day and results can be seen from a week of treatment onwards. Depending on how serious your condition is, you may have to repeat the application over a longer period before the Fordyce spots start to become less noticeable. This is because the active ingredients react with the follicle within the spot to reduce its size and prevent it from producing as much sebum.

It was difficult to get natural vinegar in my town due to which there was delay in reply please pardon.

Now I have got natural apple cedar vinegar with 5% acid.

I will start applying it from today. I will reply after using it for some days.
