I am 26 yrs old and had my 1st child 3 yrs back afterwhich last year I was stressed out and for some reasons my periods would not stopfor about 6 mths I had continuos periods I was given trillium Q and Millifolium200 for 2 mths after which it all became normal but told there was some hormonal imbalance. In March I had very bad Streptococous throat infection I took homeopathy as well as antibiotics. Now since June2005 this yr 10days before my periods I get a severe throat ache and pain from the gland behind my ears , my tonsils almost touch eachother and I feel chocked once I get my periods in a day all the pain is gone but the 10 days are horrible I can't swallow or turn my head or sleep becoz of the throbbing pain and pain killers or homeopathy like belladona, hepar sulph, kalibich, mer cor, rhus tox, mag carb or calendula gargle tried over all these mths donot have ant effect.PLEASE HELP. All throat swabs etc tests show everything normal & nothing is helping.

HI I tried the Sepia and in Dec end - Jan 1st week when my peiods were due I did not get any pain. But again now the pain has started, First my left jaw and glands below ear started hurting and then my throat on the left side, there is very little swelling of tonsils but there are thousands of water filled boils on them and there is a continuos sharp and throbbing pain going up to my ears like my ear is stuffed up, the pain is similar to the pain while landing or going to a tunnel but its continuous. While talking I feel as if I have to try so hard to be heard but my voice is normal to everybody. Also I have terrible water retention before periods could that be a reason?? I put on atleast 4-5 pounds. Everything gets back to normal on the second day of my periods. At the moment my throat has such an irritating pain I feel if my throat was cut it would hurt less. Please suggest something.

Hi Monika,

Since you were better after taking Sepia earlier, repeat it again, same dose and potency.

However, if it fails to help this time, Lachesis is very strongly indicated. It covers all your "characteristic" symptoms like pain relieved by menses.

Take Lachesis 200, 4-5 pills for three consecutive nights and report back.

Take care...
