This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
How was the pregnancy of his mother? Was it happy & uneventful or had patches of intense mental / physical trauma?

How was the delivery? Was it normal or C-section?

What are the general symptoms of the child..like thirst, hunger, stool, urine, sweat, thermal preferences etc.?

What are his peculiar or strange mental or physical symptoms?

When did you find out about his autism and epilepsy? Did it manifest after vaccination at a certain age?

What causes the epileptic attacks and what relieves them?

Well, first to correct a little detail. He has not been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. However, mental retardation and autism are suspected. Brain MRI reveals atrophy of frontal lobe.

1) Pregnancy was a happy one and uneventful.

2) delivery was through the C-Section necessitated by muconium stained liquor.

3) The child is least expressive about either hunger or thirst. In fact, the fact that he never cried for hunger had resulted in him getting de-hydrated in the first month of life resulting in his first hospitalization.

4)He has frequent mild fevers which do not last for more than a day. The neurologist says that such children have less thermal control. He otherwise gets restless in heat and prefers cooler temperatures.

6) peculiar or strange mental or physical symptoms: There is none I can think of except that such children have little attention span.

7) Autism is still only suspected... But his symptoms were visible from the first month itself given, as I mentioned above, lack of suction strength and delayed milestones. We did not find any co-relation with vaccination.

8) Epilepsy: First seizure was noticed in September of 2013 and since then he has been on various anti-epileptic medicines. However, I read somewhere that frequent blinking of eyes and trembling of lips is a form of epilepsy which have been visible since the second year of life.

9) Epileptic seizures last for about 1 to 2.5 minutes followed by drowsy sensorium for a couple of hours. Usual causes are 'during bath', 'Sleeplessness and Constipation'... He has frequent episodes of both these things.

Hi- I am following this thread for learning.

What tests have been done for him? Has he had
an MRI of the brain or scans to see if there is
water on the brain or other things, and same
scans for his spine?

Considering his background of 'fetal distress' during delivery, NATRUM MUR should help him come out of his depression due to trauma.

Give him 2 doses of NATRUM MUR 200C in empty stomach, in an interval of 10 minutes. Don't give him any food or water for the next 1 hour.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy from a reputed Make with some 10 ml of water sipped up in clean mouth.

Watch his behavior for the next seven days and report to me. If you think, this remedy produced a response, the same remedy may be repeated whenever he slips back or reaches a plateau.

Be in touch once a week to share notes on his condition.
