Completely Lost Libido - Marijuana Use
28 year old Male, that COMPLETELY and I mean 100%, lost my libido about 1.5 YEARS ago, because of excess, excess, EXCESS marijuana smoking. It litterally felt like I 'shorted out electrically' overnight and it hasn't restarted since. I have tried sooo many different types of herbal pills, etc. All my hormones check out from the dr's, including testosterone, which is in the normal range. My MAIN symptoms is 100% loss of libido and I also have insomnia. I NEVER get tired and I'm always fatigued most of the time and my energy is no where near what it used to be. ANY type of hope would be appreciated...Thanks!

Yes I still have the problem after almost six months. It's frustrating to say the least. I tried some staphysagria (forget the dosage) but that did not help me at all. I'm currently on some herbals + Fish and borage oil. If you have any suggestions that would be really helpful.

Let me be open, Something had happen sipirtually that result to your problem. Something that you did my guts feeling tell me.
To come into senses your testorone level tested was normal and how can your libido gone completely?
My suggestion to you is to pray and ask the lord. I am sure and positive it will come back. Also, try working on Yoga to make the blood flow better and even it can help with yoru insomia. There are series of yoga steps specifically for your problem.

Hi! I'm experiencing some libido problems. Once it was gone for like two weeks and got me pretty scared. I'm almost sure now that i's because of weed. I must admit i have really abused it. Now it's like I'm not sure if i won't suddenly lost my vigor when I'm just about to shag a girl. Few months ago I thought that it's my girl that's a problem, she doesn't turn me on enough or I'm gay or wtf? But another day (probably not stoned then) I could have sex with her all night long. I read some stuff and now this post and I'm afraid that I hurt myself forever. You think that if I quit now (smoked for like 7 years) I can get my libido nice and steady back again?

Whatever it is... i think i have it too... and it sucks. Im not totally void of all drive. But its not what it was. Like Adam described in the first post... its like something shut down over night. I went to the doctor... i got blood work, a CAT scan... everything came back normal. I dont have anxiety or depression. The only thing I can peg it on is smoking way to much weed. Im gonna freak out if my mojo doesnt come back!

hi i need some help have tried to find information on this topic, my partner which i love dearly quit smoking pot after 20 years hasnt touched it in two months but has no sex drive at all (is killing me) no more watching porn, no more anything really how can he fix it? i miss intermacy...... feels he cant et it to work no drive and says problem isnt me

Hmmm I also posted here, few posts above, because I blamed MJ for the lack of sex drive.
But it turned out it was more of a problem in my psyche... I was about to leave my gf because I was ashamed I couldnt satisfy her and I feel disabled, almost ready to give up like living in a couple for the rest of my life, but...
She was very patient, said she doesn't need sex if we cannot have it. And it took time, like 2 months, but finally something happened, I guess the mental barrier fell down eventually and I got aroused one evening...
She was against smoking pot, so we havent for some time, but when we tried it with sex, she started to smoke with me ;) And it was like more than 2 years ago, and we have a very healthy sexual (and in other ways) relationship, and we use weed like too often :)
So I think most of your cases are like mine, just psychology.
Think of it this way, and maybe it will help you get over it.
I don't think weed is the very reason, but you know, it helps you imply something to yourself, and then believe it :) So just find a patient, loving girl, like mine, and wait and try to relax, maybe put the weed off for some time also.
I hope it will help some of you, good luck.

I have the same issue but not because of weed/hash. I gave up smoking!
