aggravations

Do aggravations occur pathologically? For eg if creatinine of a person is 2.5 and after starting homeopathy goes down to 2.1 but the next month goes to 2.3.Is this a homeopathic aggravation. Is it good or does it signify that the medicine selected is correct?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
That is not how we tell if a medicine is working. That wouldn't have much meaning at all unless seen in the context of the OBSERVABLE and PERCEPTIBLE changes in symptoms.

If you had to take that kind of measurement to know if a medicine was working, then you cannot be on a well-selected medicine. The changes from such a medicine are marked, and easily perceived by all around them.

Doctor thanks. My brother (aged 27)had creatinine level of 3.02 on June 22nd.After visiting the homeopath who gave medicines for 15days his level came down to 2.7.Again after 15 days it was 2.67 and still after 15 days it was 2.58.On 27th August the creatinine level shot to 2.7 again and on Sept 14th it was 2.78.From June to Sept the protein in urine has either been traces or plus 2.He has no blood pressure and doesnot have edema. His ultrasonography says the the cortico medullary margin is not clear and suggests chronic kidney disease. His Pottassium, chloride etc are normal.Cholesterol and sugar is normal. Are we on the correct path regarding his treatment. Please let me know if you need any more information.thanks in advance

But what were the perceptible symptoms? Did any of those change? You can tell a remedy works, the patient can tell. They feel better in themselves, calmer, more energetic, sharper, clearer. The general symptoms should change in a positive way - appetite, sleep ,sexual desire, thirst, sensitivity to the environment. These are the kind of things a homoeopath would be assessing.

There is a change in his mental state. Earlier he never used to keep in contact with his parents and grand parents(He's staying alone near his grand parents. His parents are abroad). Now he is much better in keeping in contact. He has also become more responsible. Can these be changes in symptoms?

The keeping in contact with grand parents may be due to selfish reasons also as the doctor had advised less salt and protein in food and hence he requires home food. He now eats in the grand parents' house.

It is possible, those might be the kind of things I would be looking for if they were problems before.

There should be various general changes as well though.

Thanks. Could you describe what sort of general changes we should look for?

The changes depend on the patient and the kind of problems they have, including the kind of history they present with. What can appear to be a good sign for one client might be a bad one for another. This is what a homoeopath is (or should be) trained to look for.
