Help with dosage and potency

I have been using homeopathy for several years seeing multiple homeopaths. Have been prescribed multiple constitutionals. Podophyllum helped the longest but did not resolve. I read a book by Ian Watson that said you must address injuries in the past before constitutional will work. I had a diving accident 40 years ago causing major paralysis. Since then I have never been well developing severe digestive issues requiring multiple hospitalizations. Anyway, Mr Watsons book made sense although I did nothing about it for months. I again became very ill with constipation over the last 2 weeks. I had stomach and back pain, head fogginess and just was not emptying. I decided to give Arnica 10m a chance because of the age and severity of injury. Within an hour my mental outlook improved. My back pain melted away. By morning I felt much better but am still constipated and some pain around liver area. Do I just sit and wait or should I take Arnica again? I have seen where other practitioners told patients to start with 10m and then take 50m and even 100m for old injuries. Any expert advice is greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear Diver,

You wait. 10M can act for a long time.
You started a process when you took this
and you have to let it unfold for a couple
weeks to see just what is happening here.

Keep notes of what is going on each day,
what shows up, how long it stays and so
on.

What you did was address the 'Never Well Since'
and that was correct.

Come back on here in a week and report what is
going on so that you can be monitored on
the response. Yes people can go up in potency
on this if needed, but one has to wait to see
the direction this is taking.

Meanwhile on the constipation- when was the last Bowel Movement?
How often do you usually go and what has changed in the last couple weeks>
Describe the stool.

What is going on as far as going? no urge, hard to expel, gas and nothing happens?
Has your diet changed in the last few weeks? Is your water intake ok?

Haven't had a decent bowel movement in 2 weeks, just a few small hard pieces every several days. I usually go every other day. I have no urge and bowels are silent for most part until I took arnica. Now quite a bit more sounds. Feel like obstruction is at top of ascending colon. That is where pain is. If I go backwards should I still wait 2 weeks? Thanks

baddiver 9 years ago
Hi- On the Arnica-

You have to wait 2 weeks to see the big picture-or even
get a good idea of it. Just keep notes-somebody neutral has to guide
here, so please report about the changes.

________________________

Constipation- You need to be able to go after 3 or 4 days. Whether
that means you take a stool softener or laxative, you have to
keep the bowels moving.

I suggest you start on a probiotic- you can get flavored acidolphilus
in a bottle at Whole foods, you can start with one cup of natural
yogurt a day, or try another probiotic brand ( many times you must
experiment to find what works for you at this time)

You can take a tablespoon of flax seed oil a day, which helps.

And you can start on some cell salts- which are a different system
in that they work on the cell level to rebalance. I would get
Silicea, 6x, nat sulph 6x and Calc Flour 6x, and take 3 tabs of each-
( all at same time) 3 times a day for 4 days and see if that puts things
back into balance for you. You can report after 4 days. The salts ( 12 of
them total) are Hyland brand, under the remedies at Whole foods,
they are tablets. You can order online at Vitacost.

The constipation can have a lot of different reasons, from food allergies,
to actual liver function, to stress, to low water and fiber intake, etc
so if things were always normal and this is just the last couple weeks,
try the salts, probiotic, flax seed oil to get things back to normal.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Constipation has been going on for years in spite of organic food diet, etc.

baddiver 9 years ago
Hi- You said-' I usually go every other
day.'

Is that right?

simone717 9 years ago
When I am well I go every other day. When I was on Podophyllum it was that way for 6 months. Now it is back to the constant problems I have had for many years. Thought podophyllum was my constitutional but it stopped working. I don't think real clearly when ill so apologize for not communicating clearly.

baddiver 9 years ago
Hi- I understand about communicating
when sick.. no problem.

Ok-You don't want to take another remedy while you
are waiting on what the Arnica is going to do.

But you can try the cell salts and report after 4 days
what is going on - they work a different way -
they are a system of balancing things out on a cell
level.

Some other questions for you on this-

1. Have you had a liver panel blood test done recently?

2. Are you allergic to any foods like dairy or gluten?

Meantime-try the salts.

Did you want me to take your case. Forums aren't the most ideal way to do homoeopathy, but I might be able to help you.

HOW TO DESCRIBE YOUR COMPLAINTS (Physical Components)

In homoeopathy, prescription is based on precise details of various symptoms from which you suffer. To tell or write to a homoeopathic physician 'I have a headache ', ' an eruption ' or “a cough” would not be enough. If you inform him 'I have headache with sharp shooting pains in the left side of the head and temple, these pains always come on when the slightest cold air strikes the head. I feel better by pressing the head very hard.” Then only you have given all the information required for making a good homoeopathic prescription. The success of the prescription depends; largely on how detailed your description of the symptoms is.
We require the following details about your symptoms.

LOCATION: Please give the exact location of sensation, pain or eruption. Also describe where the pain or sensation spreads.

SENSATION: Express the type of sensation or the pain that you get in your own words however simple or funny it may seem. You may have a sensation that a mouse is crawling or the heart was grasped by an iron hand or you may have a pain that is cutting, burning jerking, pressing. Express the sensation or pain as it feels to you. Try to explain the whole sensation in the exact way it is happening and not just the word. We need to understand the whole process of the sensation as it is happening to you.

WHAT MAKES YOU WORSE OR BETTER:

Many factors are likely to influence your complaint. Some factors may intensify it and some factors may relieve the trouble. A detailed list of the factors is given at the end. Please refer it while describing each of your troubles and indicate which factors make the complaint better or worse.

DISCHARGES: You may have a discharge from nose, ears, mouth, eyes, ulcers, fistula, eruptions on skin, private parts, etc. Please describe your discharge in detail including colour, consistency, appearance, odour etc.

1] Your Complaint:

(Use your own words as far as possible, but if you have recognized or diagnosed the condition, give this information also.) By answering as many of these questions as fully as possible, you are helping me to understand what your body and unconscious mind is conveying. This can help me find a remedy for you.)
• What is your complaint?
• When did the complaint begin?
• Where is it located?
• What sort of sensations (and emotions) do you associate with it?
When does it tend to occur (time/day)
• Does anything make it better or worse?
• How does it bother you? How is it coming in way of your day-to-day life?
• How does it feel like to have this/these problem/s?
• What is the effect of this/these problem/s on you?
• Did any event happen which caused the complaint? Describe the emotion associated with it.
• What are the other symptoms started with it, esp. mental and physical symptoms, which are not directly related to the main complaint.
• What are your reactions with it?

PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR EACH SYMPTOM/COMPLAINT SEPARATELY. DO NOT INCLUDE ALL OF YOUR COMPLAINTS TOGETHER IN EACH QUESTION eg. all questions answered for Leg Pain, then same questions answered for Migraines, then same questions answered for Panic attacks etc.

8. When you experience your fears, persistent thoughts, or difficult emotions, what kind of sensation or reactions do you get in your body?

9. When did you feel at your best in your life? What was that like for you? If you imagine the complete opposite of this feeling or moment, what would that be like?

10. Do you feel like you are stuck in a pattern of behavior, especially when trying to deal with your problems? What is this pattern?

11. What difficulties or problems do you have in relationships? Talk about your family, your romantic relationships, your spouse or partner, your friends, and your work colleagues. You may need to talk about all of these separately.

I also have a timeline sort of if it will benefit.

1. What are the issues in your life that bother you the most. Not physical issues but mental or emotional ones. List each one separately and describe why each one bothers you so much.
I would say embarrassment and shame is my most difficult emotional issue. I have had so many incidents in my life that were embarrassing and I continue to re-live them even from 50 years ago. Whenever I trigger a bad memory I feel like I am reliving them. I become very upset. I have a weak memory but I seem to remember all the moments of embarrassment. I embarrass easily and never forgive myself.
I don't feel I have control of my life. I am dependent on others due to my disability. There are simple things I can't due and am embarrassed to ask for help.
I never feel like I have a home. I have moved more than 20 times in my life from childhood on. I would like my son to have that but he never has.
I am overprotective raising our child. I try to keep him out of the social situations that were painful to me in life. It causes friction and disappointment in the family.
I obsess about my and families health. I spend countless hours looking for solutions. I want peace of body and mind. My stress levels go off the scale when family is sick, hurt, etc.

2. What emotions are the most troublesome for you? What situations provoke these emotions. How do these emotions make you act? Do you feel any ill effects from expressing or not expressing these emotions.

I become upset when things are not done the way I want to them. I become irritable because I believe do it the right way or not at all.

3. What incidents in your life have had a deep impact on you? Describe each incident in detail and how they made you feel? What did you do in those situations? What effect have they had on your life?
First it would be my diving accident leaving me with paralysis. I was at a young age(15), I was finally overcoming some of my childhood emotional issues. I had a girlfriend and all of a sudden I was totally dependent on others for care. My body image went from an athletic person to muscle wasting body. My esteem dropped to extreme low levels. I wanted to hide from the world. This is when I first started to try to run from my problems. I have a long history of moving to get away from problems, leaving my old self behind. I could change and be better.
My wife was injured severely several years ago. I obsessed about her condition for years, stress levels vary high. I had tremendous fear I would lose her because her condition was very serious.I saw a significant deterioration in health after. I spent hundreds of hours finding an alternative solution for her condition. Fortunately we found a solution that has improved her QOL. I was at my worst health wise during this time. I developed allergies to what seemed everything in my life. I couldn't be near plastic without getting a migraine. There were many other materials and chemicals I had to avoid. NAET treatments helped manage.
My son was very ill as a baby, diagnosed with a potential life threatening illness. It put a great deal of stress on the family. Again, my fear of him dying was real and terrifying. He has since recovered but for 7 years there was legitimate concern for his life. I remember deep anger questioning the higher purpose.

We lost a child in late pregnancy. It was very traumatic with deep personal grief and great worry about spouses mental state. It took a couple years to move on.
I had a significant concussion 15 years ago. It took 18 months to recover from it. I was during a time I was in a highly sought position at work and effected my work performance. I don't think my memory or sense of direction has been the same since.
I remember interviewing for my first job at 22 and I nearly fainted, like vertigo I was so stressed. Although I had GERD prior to then but this seemed a turning point time for digestive issues. I had been prescribed many different meds prior to this. I took many different antibiotics for infections including one ICU visit where I nearly died. I had become addicted to a drug prior to then that I went cold turkey on. I also had a significant reaction to a sulpha drug with hives all over body. I was diagnosed with an ulcer after the job interview and my journey with significant digestive issues really took off. At the time I was highly allergic to milk. One sip would cause a migraine. I had NAET treatments that resolved my milk allergy several years ago.
My first relationship after my disability ended and I spiraled into the worst episode of depression I have experienced in my life. This was around age 25. I didn't want to go on but was to afraid to end it. It took a year to recover.
We adopted our child and for the first 2 years we were in fear he could be taken any day because the mother lied about who the father was. It seems there has been almost no period in my life where stress wasn't present
I had to leave my job due to disability about 10 years ago. I was very embarrassed and moved away to put it behind.
20 years ago we were trying to get pregnant using IVF. They did an electrical treatment on me that was very harsh on me. When I look back it may have been the first time I had the trunk spasm that has been a part of my pain since. I don;'t know if my energy has ever been the same.

4. What are you afraid of? Especially important are phobias, but it might be objects, situations or events that just produce a high level of anxiety. How do you manage your fears? How do you react when confronted with these fears? What would be the worst situation for you to be put in that would provoke these fears? You may need to talk about each fear/anxiety separately.
Fear of passing is number one. I worry about passing painfully I worry about not having the finances in place for my family before passing. I worry about it every time I have chest pain or tingling in my left arm. Is this it? Is this it? Is the prevailing thought. I feel like there is a lot left to do.
I fear being stranded significantly. I use a power chair and about 7 years ago it failed numerous times while I was very sick. I was very scared. Even now sometimes I will grab my joystick without realizing it was powered off and the chair doesn't move and I get a terrible sinking feeling.
I always worry about finances. I grew up in poverty because father didn't provide for us. I worry about poverty, not taking care of family as provider. I worry there is never enough money.
I have a fear of heights. I get lightheaded when faced with a height that is not that high.

I avoid meeting new people. I avoid whenever I can. I just feel very uncomfortable and shaking someones hand is very stressful because my hands can't grasp due to disability. I feel stressed and light headed and can't focus on anything.

5. What hobbies do you have? Why do you like each of these activities?
I enjoy following sports . I am not a good sport. I get very animated and stressed during games. It can even bring on dizziness if I get to stressed.
I love reading large volumes of news, history, health articles.
I find most pleasurable spending time with family on a lake fishing. It is by far my favorite activity, partly becomes it is something I can do with minimal assistance but more because it is usually a peaceful, relaxing, warm and sunny experience.

6. Do you have any persistent thoughts, ideas or beliefs that are difficult to stop or cope with? What are they?
Thoughts of passing and prior mistakes or incidents that are embarrassing consume me.

7. Do you have any unusual gestures or movements of the body? Do you feel any unusual sensation or pain throughout your body? What exactly does it feel like is happening in your body?
The squeezing pain I excperience is the most painful and unusual. It starts in lower abdomen and goes up. It can initiate a headache that can last for a few seconds to days. It can become a migraine.  I also get these moments where I feel like I'm going to pass away right then. It is a sinking tipping/vertigo/dizziness feeling. Usually occurs when bowels haven't moved for a while and are inactive. It startles me so I move.
There are times I feel like things are moving in my abdomen. Sometimes it feels like wiggling but most times it feels like bubbling in my descending colon.
I also experience a tightening like a band across my transverse colon.

8. When you experience your fears, persistent thoughts, or difficult emotions, what kind of sensation or reactions do you get in your body?
I feel almost like an electrical/tingling feeling that rushes to head or I can feel very irritable and anger. I can call myself names, disgusted with myself.
I also feel like a cloud has fallen upon me, like gloom is hanging over me. I feel that way to a lesser extent when the sun is not shining.

9. When did you feel at your best in your life? What was that like for you? If you imagine the complete opposite of this feeling or moment, what would that be like?
Physically it was prior to my spinal cord injury 40 years ago. Since then I would say the best time was about 10-15 years ago, I was excelling at my job, I loved my job , we adopted our son. Every day was exciting but trying. The opposite I guess would be having no direction and only focusing on the pain in my body.

10. Do you feel like you are stuck in a pattern of behavior, especially when trying to deal with your problems? What is this pattern?
I move to another community to try to put problems behind me. I can always be a better person but can't tolerate the memories from my past. I would say I try to hide from my problems. I used to be rather deceptive earlier in life but not so much anymore

baddiver 9 years ago
11. What difficulties or problems do you have in relationships? Talk about your family, your romantic relationships, your spouse or partner, your friends, and your work colleagues. You may need to talk about all of these separately.
My exposure to others is limited. I am most comfortable communicating socially on the internet as they cannot see disability. I love my spouse and son dearly, they are my world. I like my siblings and get along. I try to protect and help mother as much as possible. My father passed and we had no relationship the last years of his life. I did not really mourn his passing although I was emotional about all the baggage I carried as his child. One of my main goals has to be a better father than he was. I interact better with those where we vacation than at home. I love my wife and she loves me deeply. My shyness, introversion does cause conflict. We genuinely are wonderful friends. My son and I have a great relationship. Sometimes my irritableness gets in the way. I have really put his interests first and given him so much in life I didn't have. I am able to tell my wife and son I love them without hesitation and often. I am not able to express that with anyone else. My health limits participation in many activities.
I have a strong desire to have friends as I did in childhood, but my embarrassment and shame overpowers my ability to meet new people.

12. List 5 positive things about yourself. Are there any situations where this positive attribute becomes negative (is a problem)?
I am an excellent problem solver. I was very good as a technology expert in my job.
I am very persistent in accomplishing goals that are realistic.
I am a dedicated father and husband, always put them first.
I push to learn new things every day.
I am a better father than mine was.

13. List 5 negative things about yourself. Are there any situations where this negative attribute becomes positive (is useful)?
I run away instead of facing problems.
I can be a procrastinator.
I am a poor listener.
I am stubborn. This can be a positive by motivating me to accomplish things.
I shutdown and don't talk when upset.
I re-live every mistake, no matter how little forever.

14. Do you have any reoccurring dreams? Describe them in detail, including any feelings that come while dreaming.
I do not have recurring dreams. I seldom remember dreams but they are varied with no theme.

15. Did you have any reoccurring dreams as a child, or earlier in your life? Describe those in detail including any feelings that came with them.
I had a recurring dream in much of my childhood. A wild pack of dogs would chase me to my grandmothers. I would make it inside just before they got me. The lead dogs hair on its head was in the shape of a duck. It was terrifying and there was always fearful music playing.

16. What were you like as a child, your character, your personality, your fears, your dreams, your problems?
My family would not believe this but I was a sensitive child as I am sensitive man. I have always hidden that as it was deemed a weakness. I have always gotten very emotional with sad movies shedding tears or had an underlying deep concern for those in my family. I don't think my wife or son would consider me sensitive at all. The only time they see tears from me is when I laugh. I can shed tears uncontrollably when I laugh. I remember being moved by others with less than us. I always wanted to participate in sports and tried to please my father by being strong, tough and athletic. I always had to seem tough but I remember being afraid in spite of acting tough. I was always a follower leading me to do things that morally knew not right.
I had to do things for my father that were demeaning for our financial problems so he didn't have to. Always resented that.

17. What kind of environment did you grow up in? What problems where there at home, with your family, with your parents, with your siblings, with school?
I grew up in a large family who struggled to make ends meet. I had a typical sibling relationship growing up. Father was undependable due to alcoholism and laziness. We didn't know where are next meal was coming from at times. My father was controlling hurting me once as a 6 year old leaving black and blue eyes. He also beat sisters and saw him beat mother once. We moved continually due to finances. He was a dreamer who didn't live in reality. He left our family in dire straits financially. Our mother was a hard worker but not very loving. I do not remember affection as a child. I felt helpless defending my family from our father. I acted tough but was in fear. Once I became disabled, I felt even less in control. I had to go away to college to run from my problems and not be a burden. My father continued to be part of my life when he needed something. He stole my disability payments and was always looking for a handout. I always felt I needed to protect my family but could nothing about it. I continue to be embarrassed about not helping more. I remember a lot of fear and embarrassment as a child. Embarrassment of being poor not having proper clothing and worrying about food. I was always a follower not a leader as a child. I did not have the confidence to lead. I always felt everyone was smarter or knew a secret I didn't.

GENERAL SYMPTOMS

(Symptoms that don’t fit anywhere else, but are things that tend to affect all of you as a person, but are not emotions or thoughts)

1. Sleep - what position do you tend to sleep in?
I sleep on my sides. There is some aggravation sleeping on left side so spend most of night on right side.
- what position can you not sleep in?
I never sleep on stomach. Feel like suffocating if I do.
- do you do anything unusual in your sleep?
I sleep with my head higher than most people probably do. I feel more comfortable.
- any problems with going to sleep, staying asleep, or waking up?
I fall to sleep quickly. When digestive issues are bad I usually wake around 4:00AM due to discomfort. Takes a while to fall back asleep. By the time I wake at 7:00AM I usually feel better. My stomach tends to be bloated when going to bed. By morning it normally becomes flatter.

2. Appetite - What foods do you crave/desire strongly?
Strong craving for chocolate and sugar.
- What foods do you hate eating (have an aversion to)?
I do not like sour foods and strongly dislike cold noodle with peas dishes.
- What foods have a negative effect on you or cause symptoms?
Chocolate is a big problem causing hard stools and gluten products cause digestive disturbances. I am finding that foods high in insoluble fiber cause bloating.
- What foods have a positive effect on you or seem to improve your health or symptoms in some way?
I like fats and warm foods are more soothing.

- What is the effect of hunger or fasting on you?
I get lightheaded if I do not eat regularly.

3. Thirst - What drinks do you crave/desire strongly?
I drink almost exclusively water. I enjoy it more slightly warm or room temperature. I wouldn't say I have a craving for any drink but water. Regularly when taking a drink of slightly heated water I experience my throat closing making me feel short of breath with the first several sips.
- What drinks do you hate to take (are averse to)?
Teas disagree with me. Can't say I hate them but seem to irritate my digestive system.
- When are you most thirsty?
Usually first thing in morning.
- When are you least thirsty?
When the weather cools.

4. Stool - Do you have any problems with your bowels or passing stool?
Yes, I have dealt with constipation of varying degrees for 30 years. It has been worse the last 5 years or so. I currently have no urge and I will go 10 days or more without going. That is when my pain levels escalate.
- What is the shape, color, odor of the stool?
It varies, most of the time is soft, brown but when I experience long periods without going it is because it is hard balls impacted at some point in the colon. It even will become light colored if constipated long enough. The smell is strong and some times an ammonia smell. I have parasites. I first noted this 3 years ago when a segment of a tapeworm appeared in stool. I used a zapper to kill it and I had horrible ammonia smell come from my body for 5 days. I have been ongoing with homeopathic treatment and it seems the podophyllum expelled many parasites including ascaris. When they travel to be expelled through colon that is when I become most ill. They tend to be part of the blockages I have. My pain levels go way up and my mind becomes almost in a stupor.

5. Urine - Do you have any trouble passing or retaining urine?
When I am constipated it becomes much more difficult. My urine will become cloudy, albuminous or dark and have strong smell. I will urinate less than normal in the day and as my bloating reduces during night I will pass more urine. I will get a severe headache while trying to pass urine. When it starts in occiput it likely turns into migraine. If starts above eye usually goes away relatively soon. I will also experience a full trunk spasm starting at the bladder area going up when trying to pass urine..
- What is the color, odor of the urine?
Urine varies from normal to a dark orange or even sheets of albuminous urine.
- Do you have any sediment or debris in the urine?
As described above.

6. Sweat - How do you feel about the amount of perspiration you have?
I have not had normal perspiration since about 6 months after my spinal cord injury. The first 6 months after my injury I would have night time sweats in huge volumes quite often all over my body. One day they stopped. Since then I only sweat when in pain and mostly on left upper body, specifically arm pit.
- Where do you have the most sweat?
Upper left of body
- What is the odor?
The smell is very strong but I'm not sure how else to describe it.
- What color does it stain clothing?
Volume is not enough to stain
- Does anything in particular cause you to sweat abnormally?
Pain

7. Sexuality - Any problems with your sexual desire?
Have some desire but health not well enough to act on.
- Any problems with your sexual ability or function?
Health does not permit
- Any history of sexually transmitted diseases?
No

9. Environment – How does the weather affect you?
Love sunny warm days. My emotions are so much more positive. Notice benefit of being in sun physically also.
- How does the temperature affect you?
Can't get to hot because of inability to sweat. I hate the cold. I am even uncomfortable in the cool weather. I feel mentally and physically worse.
- How does the season affect you?
Prefer the late spring and summer. As fall rolls around our area is enveloped in clouds most of time. It is depressing.
- What physical activities affect you?
Only notable thing is when I try to lift weights I get dizzyand so uncomfortable after several minutes.
- Is there anything else in the environment you are sensitive to?
At times plastics or certain metals can cause issues but this problem is much better than several years ago.

I have had problems with thick white crust on my scalp and to a lesser degree around the nose for 30 years. Being in the sun improves, approaching storm makes worse.

Sorry I had to break the reply up so much. Couldn't figure out disallowed words I also experience significant brain fog which is happening now. If I have some more lucid thoughts I will share.

I didn't answer the question below completely in my post. Here is more.

2. What emotions are the most troublesome for you? What situations provoke these emotions. How do these emotions make you act? Do you feel any ill effects from expressing or not expressing these emotions.

My emotions of shame and embarrassment are the worst. It causes stress levels to accelerate leaving me short of breath, feeling heart palpitations and disgust with my self. I feel things are cascading and I can't stop the emotions leading to my response. I respond also with discomfort in abdomen and chest and I can also have explosive belching.

FYI, not sure if relevant but learned something today that makes me wonder about me being aggravated by the Podophyllum. I was taking a high potency(1m) at least monthly and even more often based on homeopaths request. I had improvement in health for 6 months. Recently my symptoms have been returning in full force. I had a colon hydrotherapy session today and my provider told me I had a huge amount of bile in my colon. Could it be this is aggravation from podophyllum? Sure has been painful and a step back in the last month.

I am about half way through the analysis of your case.

Alright what I have decided to do is focus on the mental state here as it is quite strong and you emphasize repeatedly that it is your primary concern.

There are three remedies that I feel come up quite strongly here. All of them could have an argument made for them. These remedies are Lycopodium, Ambra grisea and Lac caninum.

Honestly, my gut says to go with Lac-c, but the repertory would seem to support Lycopodum first, Ambra grisea second, and Lac-c last.

This is always hard with cases here on a forum - no visuals, no observations, no intuition or impressions. I have to work them like paper cases we were given in college. Large portion of my experience and skills don't apply to paper cases.

So all three of these remedies have significant problems with self-esteem and confidence. I know all of them well.

The reason I think I would actually rather go with Lac caninum is because of the depth which this remedy affects self-esteem.

Lycopodium is the more shallow of the three, where the issue is 'Am I capable of doing what I am expected, can I perform when put into a situation I am not familiar with'. The axis here is Capability - can I do what I need to do? Will I succeed or fail?

Ambra grisea is an animal remedy and straight away you will see themes of inferior and superior appear because of that. Now I believe it lies closer to the kind of problem you describe - embarrassment is a word used very often by these people. They are embarrassed about things like going to the toilet or eating. Words that connect appropriately to this state are Timid, Blushing, Nervous, Shyness, Aversion to company. The issue here is 'I am too sensitive to people seeing things about me that should be private'. The axis here is one of Privacy - can I keep hidden everything about myself so that others will not observe it?

Finally we have Lac caninum, another animal remedy and again we will see the inferior/superior, high/low themes again. But the depth here is much greater. Self-esteem is very low, to the point of self-contempt. The rubrics which define this core state are:

Contemptuous of self
Disgust with oneself
Delusion heavy black cloud envelops her
Delusion looked down upon

Neither Lyc or Ambr is found in any of these rubrics. The issue of Lac-c is 'I am lower than others, right at the bottom of the ladder, and I can never climb to be equal with others'. Lac caninum is made from the milk of the dog, and the feeling in a person is that they are always going to be inferior. There is maliciousness, cursing, rage, usually directed at themselves (although it can be others). They are also highly sensitive, full of fears.

So I think I would like to start you on Lac-c 200c. Can you obtain an oral dosing liquid rather than pillues?

I can get lac-c 200c in liquid form. Will take 7-10 days to receive. I will order. I have taken lycopodium as prescribed at 30c and 200c and it helped for a couple months and stopped. How should I take the lac-c(dosage)? When should I report back the response to lac-c?

Thank you so much for your time and kindness.
