Hand, Foot, Mouth disease in toddler

My toddler is in daycare and one child was sent home for hand, foot, and mouth disease.

And just this morning my toddler woke very irritable, refused to drink, ate little, but then ok.

I'm worried he will get his virus as anytime there is any illness at daycare, he gets it and usually much worse than the other kids.

Is there a preventive remedy for this or a treatment I can give now in case he is starting to show symptoms now?

I'm worried he will refuse to eat/drink and he's already underweight and has food allergies, so diet is already limited.

He's 20 mths old, about 23 lbs. Here is the previous post describing his personality, characteristics, etc. from a little while ago. He was having vaccine side effects then and you were VERY helpful.

Or I can give the info again if you prefer. THANK YOU!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi- you have to put this info on your thread with Evocationer.

One person has to supervise and be aware of all that is going on and
he has already studied the case.

Just fyi on daycare- this is a difficult thing, bc even kids who
are very healthy are exposed to way more things, and come
down with way more things then if they were at home-including the
parents.
