Black spots in eyes permanent?

My mother, 55 years of age, in excellent health and very physically fit has several small black spots "like fruit flies" in her line of vision. She was told by her eye doctor that the "jelly" in her eye has dried up in places and can not be repaired. Further damage may occur. She was given no treatment, just left to wonder what would happen. Any suggestions please?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The aqueous humour (jelly) does not dry up in this fashion.

Akways at the ·bottom· of the eye -- nearest to the feet -- there is debris which can be thrown up when one sneezes etc.

But this normally settles back in time.

There is also a "blind spot" (macula) where the optic nerve penetrates the retina , The brain normally extrapolates
( Fills in) this area .

There are two things which may help

Hep Sul 3x twice a day for a couple of weeks -- this may help absorb any debris.

Also Ruta 30c (or Euphrasia 30c) may help with occasional doses .
