Dr. Rishimba help with mild Autism for boy 7

My seven years old son was born 27-1/2 weeks premature resulted in hospitalization for about 4 months after he was born. He had some other complication resulting into a surgery to remove 75% of his intestine. As when he was born his heart was not beating the way it should be so he was given ibuprofen 90% of children react to 1st dose, but he was among the 10% who don’t and was given 2nd dose. Which damage his intestine and he had a surgery to remove damage part in order to avoid further damage.

He is still going through PT/OT on a weekly basis as he is behind 2 years of his age in mental development according to the last evaluation that was done a year ago. He is gone through lot of hospitalization and procedures. He has been traumatized by hospital and Dr. He was mostly fed on Pedi-sure for year and half as he was gaining almost a gram a day. He had G-Tube until he was 2 and then by bottle. He was born with teeth didn't have sufficient enamel and were yellowish.

On his last evaluation he was evaluated at age five, that is causing some challenges for him. As if he try to communicate with his age group he can’t communicate at their age level. It does not go well. He has been suspected to have autism on a borderline. Some of the typical sign are he don’t like to change the environment, i.e. setting of the room, or place where he is if you do it he gets very upset. New things are challenge for him. He is very social most of the time, occasionally he can be not social at all. Main issue for him is the articulation, he can’t articulate appropriate to his age. That is causing problem in making friends etc. We have been trying to keep him busy in physical activities, as such swimming, gymnastics, and trampoline at home etc. He like to spend more time watching TV shows for audience much younger than him. When he sleep he folds his knees towards stomach. Someone has to sleep with him, and keep holding him until he goes to sleep.
I would appreciate your help with the diagnosis and please let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks

Please describes his likes and dislikes in food, fears and dreams, his thermal preferences etc.

I greatly appreciate your quick response. We try to give him home cook meals, if not he likes pizza, French fries, macaroni and cheese, serial with milk. He also likes cucumber, cantaloupe, grapes, mangos etc. I cannot think of any strong dislike for food, other than if he does not want food he would say I don’t like it. Otherwise he would politely decline it. He is afraid of dark even in day time someone has to accompany him if he goes upstairs or downstairs, he likes to be covered with something (blanket, sheet) even in summer in 100 degree temperature before he goes to sleep. In this temperature he don’t want fan to be on, even I do he would turned it off…

What makes him angry and what makes him happy.
Mostly he is a very happy child, he likes to play with trains and that makes him happy. He likes to purchase new toys all the time. Even when he goes out he has to buy something. I try to make him understand that we can’t buy every time we go out. Sometime he gets angry with small things, like if you change the room arrangement, or bring in new item for home or it could be no apparent reason. He would be upset until it has been brought back to prior condition.

What about his energy levels, his food intake, level of hunger, thirst. Any peculiarities about his stool, urine, sweat etc.
His energy level is extraordinary, he can keep on going with playing the games that requires lot of energy for 2-3 hours (i.e. jumping the trampoline). His food intake is normally good only if we feed him, he eats very slowly eating meal can take 20-30 minutes. Very rarely he would eat by himself, we try to feed him every 3-4 hours and he would eat but don’t gain weight at all, most of his life he has been gaining one gram a day. Right now he is not even 40 pounds but he is getting tall. His thirst level is high, he takes at least eight glasses of water. Stool is a struggle for him, it’s not regular for sure, depending upon if he has eaten lot of vegetables and fruit he would do it daily otherwise it could be 2-3 times a week. Peeing is 3-4 times a day. He hardly sweat at all, even in extreme hot weather.

Describe his personality and his behavior with parents, siblings, friends and visitors.

He is very loving and social with parents, sibling’s friends and visitors. Everyone around him adores him. He likes to be hugged and kissed especially parents. In fact he demands for that. Sometime he can be very social with a person he is meeting for the first time. Which can be little embarrassing for the person, I remember last month we arrived at the airport and getting rental car and he wanted to hug a person there that he met for the first time and I think person got little embarrassing too. Like he don’t know how to react around strangers at all even I try to explain him every time which it is a new situation.

Please let me know if I have left something out or you want me to explain something further.

Thank You so much for your help.

Please try two doses of PHOSPHORUS 200C only on a single day first thing in the morning on a weekend.

Wake him up early morning and give him two doses, each dose 30 minutes apart. Let him sleep for the next two hours. Do not allow him to take any food or water after taking the first or the second dose at least for the next 2 hours.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in some 10 ml of water sipped up in empty stomach and clean mouth.

Observe his behavior for the next 10 days and let me know.

Since my son does not articulate very well for his age. If I ask him how is he doing he would say I am doing fine thank you.

What sort of changes I should be looking for?

Greatly appreciate your help.

What are his present problems?

Did you notice any change in him after giving him this remedy?

Tell me more about some peculiarities in his nature, cravings, fears and behavior etc.

Does he get fed up with his toys soon? Does he look for new toys always?

thank you for your email.
He seem to be talking more. He seems to be more understanding. Previously I'd he go out to mall he have to buy a toy. But now he is ok if I tell him that we don'nt need this toy. In the last two he have been sick twice with sore throat, cold and fever though he is on summer vacation (normally he get more sick when he goes to school this was out of ordinary for him).
Appreciate your help.

Its good to know about his progress.

Give him a single dose of PHOSPHORUS 1M on one day only when he is NOT suffering from any sore throat problems.

In case you want to cure his sore throat, give him 2 doses of PHOSPHORUS 200C, each dose 12 hours apart. That's all.

I believe he will get better with time if you put him on PHOSPHORUS 1M once a month for some months.

Inter-current doses of TUBERCULINUM may be given based on symptoms if the cure isn't complete. But we will decide on it later. As long as phosphorus is showing results, we will continue it.

Thank you so much. Should he be given Tuberculinum 200 once a week?
One thing i want to mention is that he have hard time understanding a command. If he is given complex command he would not understand it. I.e. If I say go to fridge, open the cold drink bottle, pour in the glass half and add orange juice for the half. This is a two step command. Would phosperous address this issue as well?
Thanks

Please don't give TUBERCULINUM now.

Later, he may be given tuberculinum 1M if he stopped responding to phosphorus.

Tuberculinum 1M may be given once a month.

My seven years son has developed toenail fungus on right and left feet thumb (almost half is covered). It has not spread to other fingers yet. I am trying to cut his nails every week to keep the area to minimum to get infected with fungus.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

I greatly appreciate your advice.

Can you describe his sensations and exact modalities?

What makes it better or worse?

rishimba 8 years ago
When i try to cut his nails he express some discomfort but no pain. I feel like the area is expanding. Could it be we live in very cold area and he wears socks most of the time. I try to take them off going to sleep for sure and change them every day. Other than that I can not think of anything that make it better or worse. If you suggest something i can try to see If it change anything.
