Young and Losing Hair

Hi there,

I'm a 25-year-old female who has been losing hair for the past 7ish years. I didn't notice it right away because it seems to be an all over slow effect. Now the effect is mostly visible in the very front middle (especially if I part my hair).

Sometimes the hairs fall out and have a large white bulb at the root. Also, I took a macro picture today and most of the strands look thick while others seem extremely thin (like 1/3 the size of the thick ones).

There is no history of alopecia or hair loss in my family. My parents are in their 40's and 50's and still have all their hair. My grandmas are around 80 and still have all their hair. My sisters have no hair issues, neither do my brothers.

I've never had an oily scalp (but also don't usually have dry scalp). I don't use commercial products. I don't have dandruff. Sometimes my head itches though.

Around that time (beginning of hair loss) I got married and moved to a higher elevation and dryer climate. I stopped eating onions. I started drinking green smoothies (with mainly kale, spinach and berries in it, along with flax seed).

I've never weighed more than 145 (5'6') and my periods have almost always been on time.

Another interesting thing is I never used to have body odor. Even if I worked out and sweated a lot I would never stink (and this was confirmed by having siblings sniff me). Now I have a very odd BO. It almost smells like an undertone Indian/Pakistani food (not in a good way). I very rarely eat Indian/Pakistani food.

I'm trying to cover anything and everything that might be affecting it. If you need more information please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm grateful for any and all help. Thanks in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also, I don't take any medications. I do a prenatal vitamin and vitamin D capsules.

I got pregnant a year ago and found out that my vitamin D levels were extremely low (7). I got it up to 35. I was borderline to hypothyroidism, but after fixing my vitamin D my hormone levels went from low-normal to normal-normal.

During pregnancy I did not get that extra growth of hair. But now 4 months postpartum I am losing more hair than normal (as would be expected after pregnancy). This is just making my prior hair loss even more noticeable.

A few years ago I had IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). That is gone.

I also developed a weird thick nail on one of my toes (left foot, toe next to the big toe). It has horizontal ridges in it and rarely grows. That was the only toe affected for a long time. However, recently the same toe on my right foot is showing signs of heading that way as well.

Please take three doses of Lycopodium 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am looking into buying the Lycopodium right now.

In the meantime, I was expecting to be asked a ton of questions before a dosage was given. I'm interested in what made you suggest the Lycopodium.

Thank you again, I appreciate it.

Locally I have only found Lycopodium 6c and 30c. Would either of those do?

Otherwise, I found Lycopodium 200c and 200ck online. Which should I get if the local ones are not sufficient?

Thanks again kadwa

EDIT: Stelmyra and Radoria are one in the same. I have repliedwith Stelmyra for better tracking through e-mail. Thanks.

You may use Lycopodium 30c. Lycopodium 200 and 200c are one and same. All other instructions remain unchanged even for 30 potency.

Thank you very much kadwa. I appreciate your time and effort in helping me. This Thursday I will be able to buy the Lycopodium.

In the meantime I have been doing a lot of research and believe my hairloss is due to hypothyroidism (hair loss, low libido, mental fog, fatigue, cold extremities, mapped tongue, dry skin, need excessive sleep to function, slow digestive system but not constipated). If this is the case, do your still recommend the Lycopodium?

Lastly, I forgot to mention I am nursing a five month old baby. Is it safe for her if I take what you prescribe? Thank youagain for your help.

Please go ahead with Lycopodium 200. It is safe for a nursing mother and her baby.
