smoker? I'll love to see this recommendation...I'm told 7-8 hours sleep a nite and no smoking helps. Other than that explanation, genetics was told me by MD but that means you're not ill either. No doctor here so no real advise on this end.

Dark circles aroung eyes means you have low kidney energy/weak kidneys
Troubles going to sleep and waking up and eye problems (+a few other symptoms) - weak congested liver. Seems like your liver energy is not flowing freely (sitting infront of a computer definitely does not do it any good) Sedentary life style will lead to liver energy congestion (and liver affects our eyes, general energy levels, mood, sleep). Toomuch mental work will also strain the liver, which will then turn to kidneys for "support", but your kidneys are already weakened, so there's not much help there either.
I don't think there is anything physically wrong with you, not yet anyway ...
with regards to remedies - will need to look into it, but you shold try to balance out your lifestyle - your body NEEDS physical activity. Regularly getting out into the fresh air will solve half of your problems.
