Parkinson's disease

Hi,
My father is 70years old and has been suffering from PD since last five years. He first noticed that he had difficulty in walking. Then his left side started becoming weak. Gradually his condition has worsened and now for the last 5 months he can't even hold a spoon.
My father has been a diabetic for last fifteen years.
Has had two heart attacks (But heart condition is now undercontrol thanks to homeopathy).
Previously (i.e. when he was completely normal) he used to get angry a lot but ever since his PD started he has lost interest in life.
His blood pressure is mostly on the lower side.
For your info: my two elder sisters had Fredrick Ataxia, which started at the time of their puberty. Eventually my second sister died at age 35 five years ago and my eldest sister (age 42) is completely immobile on bed since last 9years. This has also had a very bad effect on my father.

He is currently taking Glucophage for diabetes.
Senimet for Parkinsons.
Monis for heart.
Ascard for blood thinning.
Zoloft for depression.

He is also taking Crategus and Cactus for his heart condition.

My father was always proactive i.e doing all the housework, shopping, his job taking care of his family, etc (he never played sports but always enjoyed cricket, hockey and football). It really hurts me to see my father in such a state that he has become totally dependent on others.

Please advice any remedy which might help him even if slightly.

Thanks n regards,
A concerned son.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I believe that your dad can be helped by using Arnica 30c in the water dose taken twice daily.

It should help his Diabetes and will also thin his blood.

Please read my article on Arnica the Miracle Remedy on this forum.

Thanks for the reply Mr. Livera.
I have Arnica 30 but bottle doesnt say 30c. Can you advise what does the 'c' stand for and i it different from the one that I have.

I have previously used Arnica whenever somebody in the house has fallen down. The dose was 5 drops in a little water.

Can you advise what is meant by water dose and how many drops? Also will this remedy help him in fighting PD?

Anxiously waiting for your reply.

Your Arnica 30 is the 30c potency. The 'c' represents the Centesimal potency which in this case is 100 to the power 30.

5 drops in a little water to treat any injury can be an overdose of the remedy.

I note that you have the liquid remedy and you can use 1 or 2 drops in 500ml water. The optimum dose is 1 drop but I have invariably noticed that it is very difficult to avoid the second drop from falling into the bottle when you are in the process of potentizing the water in the bottle.

The water dose is made up as follows:

Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml
Put in 1 drop of the liquid remedy.
Hit the bottle hard on your palm or a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like when you open a bottle of soda.
Sip 1 teaspoonful twice daily.
Keep the bottle in the refrigerator.

Mr. Livera,
Thankyou.
I will do as you have suggested and inform after some time of any improvements.

Two questions. Is it neccessary to use spring water or normal filtered water can also be used?

Also I heard from someone that metal should not touch homeopathic medicine i.e spoons etc.

Best regards,
Fahim.

Mr. Livera,
Could you please advise if its neccessary to use spring water to make the watered dose or can normal filtered water be also used? Is spring water the same as mineral water?

Also does the material of the bottle make a difference i.e glass / plastic / metal etc

Regards

The advantage in using Spring water which is sold in supermarkets is that the water is drawn from deep bore wells at which level the water is relatively pure and not mixed with other chemicals.

However if you have any problem you may use boiled filtered water.

Rain water is by far the best but you will have to collect it a few minutes after it starts to rain after the dust in the atmosphere has been washed down. You can also collect it off the roof after it has rained hard for 15 minutes. The rain water must be boiled to eliminate any contaminents from the roof.

A glass bottle which has been sterilized with boiling water is the best to store the remedy and it is best to keep it refrigerated.

Further to my post of yesterday, I would like you to also get Arnica 1M which you can keep in hand as I feel that it will be more effective than the Arnica 30c that I prescribed for your dad's PD.

You may like to know that I have used it for a similar case and there is no doubt that it has had a positive effect on the patient who is a 45 year old lady who was on 3 tablets of L Dopa daily and has been able to cut down the dose to just 1 per day with the addition of the Arnica 1M.

This higher potency should not be used till you have used the 30c for at least a week when we will evaluate its performance.

I presume that he is not taking any other drugs like L Dopa for his PD. Please confirm.
