On going bartholin cyst
I am a 26 year old female experiencing consistent bartholin gland cysts. I have read many different stories thru blogs and forums about relief but I am desperate. I have had these cysts since I was 17 but none have ever been this bad like those I have experienced this past year.My last 3 cysts (a few months a part...no pattern in timing) have gotten to the size of oranges. What has alarmed me the most about these last three experiences was not only how quickly (a little more than 24 hours) it grows, but in how much pain my body is in---not just the cyst! My whole spine and neck starts to ache and my head pounds to the point where I cannot get out of bed. I cannot eat or drink anything without wanting to throw up from the pain. However, I do not have a fever and once I get to the point I am forced to go to the hospital, the doctors have mentioned that the gland is inflamed but is not infected!
I have tried many many home remedies and found only minimal relief. What is scaring me now is the minimal amount of time I am experiencing between the cyst flair up and when I am (I want to say) bed ridden from these terrible body aches! I feel like now my body is not giving me any time for hot soaks etc to even attempt to help it release on its own.
I post because I am wondering if anyone else has seen symptoms like this. I have heard over and over about marsupialization and I refuse. I take my diet and exercise regiment very seriously and have even tried cleaning it up more so with such frequent flair ups. I do suffer from some anxiety but I am currently working on meditation several times a day.
Could anyone offer words of wisdom?

thank you for this information. i recently had to have a cyst lanced at the emergency room this past friday (4 days ago). They have prescribed me antibiotics because the gland had swollen so large in size. I can still feel the incision, but the swelling has definitely gone down.
With this information, is there any changes to the Merc Sol you had suggested? Are there are side effects associated with Merc Sol?

Merc sol has served me well, however, I believe I am experiencing a flare up with my cyst. I have had swelling the past three days and have not experienced any pain until today.
I started taking the merc sol as you had mentioned in the earlier posts at the on sight of swelling with hot compresses. Do you have any suggestions?

i have continued with merc sol. it has been over a week now i have taken this. i cannot find sepia 30 locally and it will take several days by mail.
yesterday the cyst became larger and painfully inflamed. I am taking hot baths and sometimes cold compresses.
Do you have any suggestions?

Update: the cyst has released on its own after I topically applied tea tree oil and witch hazel.
I quickly did a sitz bath and drained whatever fluids I could.
I did notice that the cyst drained where there was a white head forming.
Is there anything I should follow up with now that it has drained? The coloration of the fluids were yellow, musty pink and blood.
