Excessive hair loss possibly due to thyroid

hi, I am 22 years old. i have started having excessive hair fall since past for 5-6 months.
Got my thyroid tests done 3 months back and got TSH level 7.8. Got it done once more the next day and it showed around 5.8. So the doctor started my meds . I have been taking thyroxine for 3 months since then. 25 mg.
now its been 3 months and my hair fall is like 250 per day. I fear I will go bald. I got my THS test done 2 days back and is 6.2.
Please help me. I am going fat too and I have lots of grey hair too. Please help me.

Since how long you have had UTI? When was the first time it started? How was it treated? When was the last time it came back?

'Having excessive hair loss although have been suffering with it since past 8 years but it has increased alot recently'.

Hairfall increased a lot recently? When exactly?

Has your diet increased of late?

Any other major event in your life which impacted you?
For example, any insults that left an impact.

I had my first uti attack after which due to medication it suppressed.
but in 2012 i had 5 attacks of uti and out of those 2 times i had to go to emergency to get injections.
It was trated by taking uriliser and uripass tablets. also by increasing intake of water to 3 litres per day atleast. I asle took cranberry med for 6 months.

it was last time in june 2013.(very mild one)

in past 6 months my hairfall has increased alot.

yes i have been feeling very hungry of late. and i have a very bad constipation too like for two days continuosly.

and I dont think there has been any such event that has impacted me but in the past four years I have lost the confidence in my self that i can achieve what i want by working hard. I feel I cant get anything.

Lycopodium 6C

Dissolve 2 drops in 3 tablespoons water, stir a few times and drink. Do this twice everyday for 3 days on how you feel.

Please note that it will take 2-3 months for hair fall process to be reversed.

Zady101 last decade
What after 3 days? And also is it a liquid med ?

You will first see changes in mood, energy levels, and other things. Hairfall and greying are the last to improve. Within 3-4 months, lets say.

I have few questions to ask and your answer has a direct bearing on your treatment and what i advise:
1) have you taken birth control pills?
2) have you taken any other treatments?

Zady101 last decade
No i have never taken any birth control pills or any other treatment except minoxidil that i talked about earlier

prachi21 last decade
Hi, is there anything in particular that I should avoid eating with the meds.

prachi21 last decade
Avoid coffee, colas, deep fried stuff. Do not use moov, iodex, vicks, tiger balm. They all antidote.

Zady101 last decade
Hi, i have been having the meds for the past three days. I feel that there has been some improvement in the sense that the frequency of anger/mood swings/ lack of hope has decreased.

i feel more hopeful for my exams and getting good result in it although such optimism lasts only for a day and then in the night i again start feeling miserable. ( its still an improvement over earlier situation when i used to feel like that all day long).

the problem of constipation still persists badly.

so, what would you advice?

prachi21 last decade
You must take doses at 12 hours gap. For example, if you take the first dose at 9 AM, take the second dose at 9 PM.

Update me after 1 wk.

Zady101 last decade
Okay sure.

will it also help me in hair fall cuz they fall so much that it makes me worry i myt lose them all in a month or so.

prachi21 last decade
Yes, but that will take time.

Zady101 last decade

Also my constipation has still not cured though it has decreased in the number of days i feel so. My hair loss is also very high. With brittleness and dryness. What shall i do?

prachi21 last decade
Please continue dosing.
