Anyone used homeopathic VANILLA? 3

Anyone use or have experience with homeopathic Vanilla?

I was told once that if you are suddenly drawn to an herb or plant (or strongly repulsed by it) it's a good idea to investigate its use. Thus, my question for this thread.

I am drawn lately to Vanilla Planifolia. I checked in my Materia Medica and there's not much there, except that Vanilla is good for a skin affection in the 6th to 30th potency. It's an emmagogue and aphrodisiac and for prolonged menses.

I can't relate to the skin affection, but I sometimes have prolonged menses and I wouldn't mind the aphrodisiac part either.

I've searched high and low and NO ONE carries homeopathic Vanilla that I can find. Now that I understand how to make a homemade 3X and up liquid dilution, I know I can easily make it myself. I have pure, organic vanilla extract in 40% alcohol (I believe it's a brandy extraction....absolutely divine).

The question is: Has ANYONE used this intriguing remedy for ANYTHING? If so, what is the best potency?

Is it really an aphrodisiac? If so, what potency? I would think with the booming sales of such products, homeopathic vanilla would have made its mark, eh?

Thank you.

Thanks, Sajjad. I just was intrigued by this hard-to-find remedy and wondered about its use, especially as an aphrodisiac. There are so many herbs and such that claim to have that power and while I know that sex starts in the head, I was wondering if the information I read regarding the homeopathic vanilla was accurate.

I'll look into polycrest remedies as well. I know a few already.

Thanks again,

Jane

Yes sex starts in the head and there are medicines for that for correcting the imbalance. .
there are also herbs and homeopathic mother tinctures which acts directly on sexual organs, like sabel ser, damiana, avena sativa, agnus caus and others that corrects the defecencies, vanilla is not so powerful.

Okay. I won't bother delving into vanilla anymore. I am well aware of the herbs you mentioned as mother tinctures and their action.

In Radar, Synthesis 9.1, the repertory extraction of Vanilla shows a very interesting mental picture (ailments from reversal of fortune, feels unfortunate, angry when things don't go his way) and neurologic picture (awkwardness, striking things).
I'd be very interested to hear from anyone who's used it in a case with chronic mental/emotional issues.
Thank you!

P.S. to Jane,

In response to your original question about using vanilla as an aphrodisiac, I wouldn't necessarily use any remedy to treat one single ailment. Our libido is one component of a whole system.
