old dog going in back legs and deaf

Hi, I have a 12 year old German Shepherd. She went deaf about 1 year ago. Vet could find no cause except old age. She is slowly weakening in the back legs and losing muscle tone there. I believe she is arthritic as she whines and groans on getting up. She has been prone to flea bite hot spots where she chews herself raw at the base of her tail. She seems depressed and lethargic. Constitutional notes:
Reserved
Gentle with other animals
Gentle with children
Avoids people and crowds
Prefers fresh air, outside, doesn’t want to come in the house
She was traumatised as a young dog (got out of a yard in a storm, caught by rangers with wire around her neck which cut her badly, been timid and fearful since)
Doesn’t feel the cold
Only fresh meat
Doesn’t crave closeness
Solitary – only comes to me most of the time.
Used to sit by gate and bark a few times at trucks going by but now doesn’t.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give her 10 drops of Ginkgo Biloba Q twice a day for 15 days and see how that affects.

Hi,

Saw you had a duplicate post of this with
prescription from RP Tamhankar, Do not
do both of these things at once, do one or the
other.

Ginkgo is not available in the West as a Q potency
which is mother tincture. You can get it off this
site from Boiron or Hylands, lowest potency is 6x.
Pills are half the price of liquid,, you can ask
Kadwa how to dose the 6x.

Thanks Kadwa and Siimone. Yes, I did post the info twice as the first time I couldn't see it in my 'View my Threads', I think it's called.

I can get Gingko both tincture or extract here and I believe that may help as well as the homeopathic advice in the other post, and shouldn't interefere as not used in a homeopathic potency.

Kadwa, can I use an extract or must it be a tincture?

Prefer tincture.
