Bacterial infection. Return of old symptoms - good sign?

Hey all! Glad to find somewhere I can discuss the weird, wonderful and at times baffling world of my homeopathy treatment!

For the past several months I've been treating a bacterial stomach infection, h pylori, naturally. I did so first by quitting all sugars for a month to starve the bacteria, and shortly after this I introduced homeopathy into the mix.

Generally, I've seen big improvements. My acid reflux has 99.9% gone, when it comes back its usually for minutes rather than hours,

What I'm currently experiencing is a lot of nausea and dodgy bowels - which echoes back to symptoms I have 6 weeks before the bacterial infection made itself obvious in terms of stomach ulcers etc. I had originally treated (suppressed) this nausea with... A pharmaceutical drug! :O

I've also experienced old feelings of ulcers cropping back up. Does it mean I'm actually getting ulcers or just experiencing the symptoms?

The nausea is certainly lingering (2 weeks now) but I did have the original symptoms of this for 6 weeks so understandable.

Does this sound like a good sign?

Hi,

When you take a remedy, after the remedy has any
action, you are to stop taking it and let it work. If and
when you go backwards to old symptoms then take
another dose or if you plateau for a time.

If you keep taking a remedy when it is having action, you will
overdose and bring back your old symptoms.
Or you will aggravate old symptoms, or you will have
proving effects of the remedy ( things you never had due
to overdosing)

What are you taking, potency and dose and how often are
you taking it? It sounds like you overdosed yourself.

Hey Simone, I'm actually doing it under the supervision of mymhomeopath, not treating myself. She gives me 6 week courses of different remedies depending on how my symptoms are doing. This is now the 3rd 6 week course (mid way through) do you truly think overdosing is possible given these conditions? Or is the re emergence of symptoms a good thing? :)

Hi,

no one would be able to make an intelligent comment
unless you gave your case info on here and told
what the prescriptions were-

With what you are experiencing now? Old things
reappearing is generally a good sign, except that
when they start to reappear you would stop the remedy
you were given and let it work itself out.

If you are having these things and being told to keep
taking the remedy anyways?? That goes against
normal homeopathic principles. I hope you have
asked your homeopath about this.
