Help please with boys cough, cold and attitiude
My 4,5 years old son went to school this September, and he has been sick since.It starts with a sore throat, next day runny, watery nose, (recently mild middle ear infection, but no antibiotix were needed)and 4 or 5 days after his nose is stuffed, and there is a bad cough, violent, wet cough. The cough is the worst at night time, evenings, 4, 5 am, gets better daytime.Even before he started school, after even mild cold, his cough lasts about 3 months. Last night he was up few times and had to vomit from coughing. Maybe a year ago, when he had that cough, the doctor gave him a puffer with steroids, as he suspected an innflamation at the bottom oh his lungs. It did help.
My son is a smart, attentive boy. When tv is on, he listens to the news, and mostly understands and can say, what happen (accidents, killed people, crashes, road closures etc) He speaks very clearly, nice full sentences, can concentrate well, when interested in something, has a tons of deep questions. He loves to swim, dive, and (like my dog) he doesnt like shower time face wash. He cannot wear his clothes tight and close to his neck, always pulls it down. He prefers cold temp., warm food, sweet tasting food, doesnt like spices, he drinks mostly water. He sleeps hard untill early morning, then he comes to my bed. But when he wakes up, or I wake him up, his grumpy, mad, aggresive, but when he kicks, he hurts only himself. Sometimes he says he wants to hurt himself. He is over sensitive. Since he was 3 he's interested in girls body parts, pregnancy, how do babies get into mums bellys, how do they get out etc. He's played doctors with his girlfriend a few times. At school he plays only with girls, he says he doesnt like sensless running around with the boys, and that boys cannot communicate.
I dont want to give him a puffer, and I consulted psychologist and early child educator, they say, there is no problem with my boy. But for me he is loaded with bad emotions sometimes.

Cough, the worst 4-5 am and before he falls asleep, after he falls asleep it calms down immediately for a couple of hours, as well during the day is better.
Its wet, violent cough, from the bottom of his chest, he coughs 2, 3 times, 10 second break, and coughs again, and again.
Last night he vomited from hard coughing.
2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
Yellow discharge from both eyes, all day long.
Stuffed nose, thicker then watery, but still clear with no colour.
Phimosis, hopefully under control.

Last night, before cough, he woke up screaming no no no. He wasnt fully awake, and i could not wake him up. He looked like he was in pain, all body tense, like belly ache, or legs cramps. But with his eyes closed, he said he wasnt in pain. he was rolling from side to side, kicking, aggresive, but he hurted only himself, not me.
He had no traumas in his life.
But the pushing me (anyone) away when sick or hurt is my main problem. When I take a toy away, and then want to give it to him, he wouldnt take, would say: NOW I dont want it.

When his cough gets to the point when its dry and painful, he aksk me to help him because it hurts, and that doesnt happen often that he asks for help.

He had his coughs periods all his life, but it was maybe once, twice per year. Now, he is coughing since September, and cold is off and on all the time.
Before he had a cold and a mild left ear infection I had a big problems with a tooth, abscess, huge infection from eye, to the chest, all neck, and 2 antibiotics. Soon after he got sick.
And before he got sick, he had his collar bone broken, and a boy at the school hit him a few times in that spot. He was upset, but not angry, and happy, that a girl defended him.

He says he is scared of thunderstorms, but when inside, he forgets about the weather. But he doesnt like loud noises, always cover his ears, in a garage, bell

And by himself, he is very noisy kid, he sings, plays drums or drums made of anything, keyboard, the laudest the better.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No, he doesnt like to be touched when something is wrong, he gets mad when hurt himself, but will not let me 'to kiss it better', he is upset, wants an attention, but cannot take it, so is aggresive and grumpy.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
Light the less, but smell and noise YES. He can smell from a distance if I ate a chocolate, he always asks about different then usual smells, like new laundry soup, new detergent etc., he can hear things in the same time what our dog can.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
He used to bite on his nails when his sutter was taken away from him. Stopped after a year.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
He loves me, has mixed fillings to his dad, my husband, due to lack of time together (my husband works a lot, so he hardly sees him), he likes his friends and is not jelaous about their achievements or belongings. He loves our dog, but can be mean sometimes, like: to kick the dog if the dog is on his way, or take the dogs toys and hide them.
Socialy he does well at school with friends and teachers. But he is more a follower type of person. He doesnt believe he can be more entertaining then others are.

He craves for sweets only, and will not eat any spices, veggies (only potatose, cucumber and lettuce), will eat meat if its not to hard to chew. I would say, he is more sensitive to consistency then taste. Doesnt like sour.

High blood preasure, can..cer, thyroid.
23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
Middle height for his age, small feet, has no fat, can see his ribs, but when dressed, no one would tell he is this thin, i guess its type of body build, he is bigger but skinny. Shoulders down. Knees not staight yet, kinda x, but its almost gone now.
He is white, winter very pale, summer nice dark tan. Blond, thick straight hair. Blue eyes. Always big shadows under the eyes, gray-purplish. Big ears. Hairy legs.

Good Evening Zady101,
I gave my son 2 doses of Pulsatilla, one yesterday, one today and one more is to be given tomorrow. Today in the morning Mmy son was little more relaxed, cough is down. He didnt wake up last night with his no no no. But the no no was very present late afternoon. Earlier on a show for kids the showman picked up 5 kids out of 100 as his helpers on the stage, he didnt pick up my son, so he all upset has cried for 10 minutes. Another time a lady was given candies away, he wanted to get one, but at first she didnt see him and then she told him to say trick or treat, so he said he was not going to say anything like that, and he didnt want to get a candy from her anymore, altough he really wanted it. So he was mad. Today, when he talked to people, he wasnt old himself, he wasnt answering when asked a question and he seemed to have problems with basic understanding and thinking. I didnt show him I was concerned and during our walk about 3 pm i asked him if he was ok, how was his cough, if he was tired of walking, if his legs were sore, and he said: 'i dont know mommy, i just feel like my brain has twisted and fell down somewhere'.
Hmmm. I tried to investigate it further, but he didnt want to talk about it anymore .
He was very 'touchy' today, a couple of times said i had hurted his feelings, and he was definitely mentaly slowly.
Is that normal?

Yesterday before we went on a trip I had ready plastic cup with water, plastic spoon and Pulsatilla pellets. Somehow its hard to take the pellets out of the container, there is something wrong with opening, so being in rush, I called my husband to fix it, to put 5 pellets in a cup and do not stir it. Everything was sitting on a counter. Before we left my husband brought the cup and a spoon so I could stir it I give it to our son. But last night I cleaned the counter and there were Arsenicum Album 30c (it was for my dog, he got last dose day before, so it was put away) beside Pulsatilla. My husband said he didn't see the pellets, so he THINKS he took them from the cabinet. He got upset, felt guilty and lost, and i was extremely mad as i couldnt get a straight answer. To make long story short, now he is not sure which ones he put in a cup.
Seeing Jacob reaction to the remedy, no no all morning, not sleeping calm last nigt, the change between yesterday morning (relaxed and smiley) and yestarday afternoon and night (upset, nervous, irritable) I would say he got arsenicum alb.
Help please! Should i rush him to ER? Wait? Any antidotum? What to do? Im. Really scared!

Don't worry. No harm is done with it, even if its the wrong dose.

When draw a picture, he put 7 legs for the sheep and didn't know what was wrong with the picture and why he did it!

Please do nothing. Just wait. In a few days, he will be fine. And yes in all probability he got Pulsatilla only. So please wait this period out or else we will think of antidoting.

Jacobs cough got worse since last night. Its getting worse when he is over simulated.

Cough, eyes and stuffed nose are better.
He wakes up every night without his no no no, but to come to my bed.
He had wet a bed once.
But the days!!!
His very moody. Right after he gets off the school bus is one big no no on everything. Very irritable. Very mean (doesnt love me, is going to find a new better daddy etc). I cannot correct him or tell him anything because ge gets upset so easily. He used to love taekwondo, but now refuses to go, because during the game he got tagged, so he cried like he had a bone broken and wanted to leave right away. In general, he cries a lot and it barely happened before, he was moody and over sensitive, but it got so bad, that there is no chance to distract him or fix it so we can enjoy our time together.
He says he gets angry but he doesnt know why. Before he could name the problems.
His apetite is very good. Thinking is back.
