The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Hello-

I need to know how to relate homeopathic remedy dosages to AMA style drug. I used to take generic form of Donnatal, but it is no longer available, and the brand name price is beyond my reach. Donnatal is made of phenobarbital & belladonna alkaloids. The first I can get from Doctor, but the Belladonna alks seem only available via Homeopathy...I need to know how much to take to equal what was in Donnatal. Thanks.

Hi,

These are not the same things at all. The homeopathic version takes
a part of the plant and then dilutes it in water hundreds and thousands
of times. What you have is a water molecule imprint. You cannot compare them
and the homeopathic medicine is meant to stimulate your life force
into clearing out your disease, it is stimulation only and not meant to
take every day like an allopathic medicine.

An example would be marijuana. People ingesting or smoking the plant
itself which causes people to be spaced out, get very hungry etc.
The plant made into a homeopathic remedy is used to erase symptoms
in people that have similar symptoms to what the herb itself causes.
