Poison Ivy quick question for Kadwa or Poison Ivy Expert?

Hi Kadwa,

Tuesday night I was cutting a bush back outside at night using just the flood lights to get ready for contractors coming the next morning who were going to be putting hardscaping in.

I washed my arms when I came in
and washed my arms in case I'd brushed against Poison Ivy. I noticed a spot of brown sap that I couldn't get off my hand that I now think was urishiol (the stuff that causes the rash). I hoped I'd be ok but the next day I started to get a rash on my arm which got worse. It spread to my face and the other underarm.

I've been taking Rhus Tox 30c which helps relieve the itching. I'm just wondering how often I can take it. I've been taking it whenever the itch returns and gets really bad.

My constitutional remedy is Calc Carb but I didn't trust it to work.

Also I did what you suggested for the cat that did well on Arsenicum Album for a while with helping with the prolapsed rectum and green diarrhea with microscopic parasites and gave him Sulphur for his itchy skin and
it may have helped subtly.

Today which is almost the end of 2 weeks, he started scratching and biting himself like crazy. I think part of it is boredom because by picking him up and putting him on my lap one time he stopped doing it. Also rubbing/massaging his skin seems to help.

I gave him another dose of Ars. Alb. to see if that would help and he seems to be calm right now and not over grooming or scratching but I was wondering if Rhus Tox might help him since the way he goes after himself must make him feel like Poison Ivy is making me feel.

Of course the fleas aren't completely gone. I wish there was something I could use to strengthen his immune system - which I guess is what Ars Alb is supposed to do. I wonder if he'd do better on a stronger dose? 30c once only seems to work for 10 days at best.

I also wish I could give him a proper bath to get rid of the fleas.

So do you think a stronger dose of Ars Alb would help the cat or would Rhus Tox maybe help and be compatible with Ars Alb?

For me, should I start taking Calc Carb 30c thrice 4 hours apart and wait and stop with the Rhus Tox 30 c (which I've taken about 3 times today)? Or maybe I should do both or just keep going with Rhus Tox and not do Calc Carb., ...or do something else. What do you think?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Just rhux tox is enough for you and your cat. No other remedy needed.
