Nasal Polyps

Hello, thanks in advance for your help. I'm a 33 yo woman, and have a nasal polyp in my right nose, very high in the nose. Also allergies and recurring sinusitis. The main thing is my nose bleeds frequently because of this, nose bleeding and also blood coming from my mouth as the polyp is so high. Any guides regarding homeopathic medication would help, thanks a lot!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Phosphorus 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you so much for your help! So I take 3 doses first day and then no doses the next 14 days, is that right? Thank you again

That is okay. i suggested 3 doses over first two days then nothing for 13 days. Both the methods will do.

Hi kadwa, I wanted to ask you how do you think I should proceed with treatment. I completed the fist course of Phosphorus 200 as you indicated, the 3 doses over 2 first days and wait 13 days more. These 2 weeks I had regular nasal discharge -yellow and 'bubbly'-and nasal congestion. I am still with almost complete nasal congestion and some discharge once or twice a day.
No nasal bleeding these 2 weeks!
If you have any insight I would very much appreciate it. Thanks a lot for your help!

Thank you kadwua, here goes my answered questionnaire

Patient ID: clementine3
Sex: female
Age: 33

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?

Nasal polyp in right nasal passage, very up in the nose. It had a major bleeding half a year ago that had to be not cauterized but treated by an emergency nose doctor to stop the bleeding and then the polyp was found. Since then it bleeds (nose-mouth) once in a while but always clots within minutes. I have an almost constant congested nose sometimes in both sides of the nose but mainly in the right side. Regular sinus infections, because of this I think. I took Phosphorus 200 2 weeks ago. The first week I had nasal discharge, deep yellow and bubbly. The last week I had a congested nose and was not able to blow my nose. Three days ago (last days of second week since taking Phosphorus) I started having nasal mucus again (yellowish, sometimes more white) and being able to blow my nose with mucus. I feel my nose stuffed up in the nose where the polyp is, even when I have no mucus in the nose (right side)
Also allergies that make my sneeze sometimes.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

Quite a bit of dental trouble, a broken tooth in the front

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

When the first big nasal bleeding happened (when I found out about the polyp) I was going through a family problem. My oldest son (10 year old) was took away to another state by his birth father. I am still in legal battle because of this and it causes lots of emotional suffering.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

When my nose bleeds I get scared remembering the bleeding half a year ago. I feel vulnerable.
When I have my nose congested I feel scared about not being able to breath and swallow right.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

The sinus infections and foul nasal discharges started a year ago. I had a congested nose for months and nasal discharge: sometimes yellow and watery. It first bleed half a year ago. I connect everything not with a physical event but with the trouble with my son's birth father and he taking my son away. I feel the sinus infection and polyp were there last year and it got to the point of the bleeding last january.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

Evening- from 7 pm to 9 pm

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

When my nose bleeds a little I put a cotton with water to stuff it.
When I am congested I breathe an eucaliptus balm and it makes me feel better. Cold air makes me feel better. Hot air and weather makes my feel uneasy and with low pressure. Laying my head down makes me feel unconfortable.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

I don't think so. I found out that the nasal polyp bleeds when I'm feeling unsecure and vulnerable.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

I feel better with cold, dry weather. Hot and humid make me feel uneasy.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

Arguing, Worried, moody most days. Mild some days. I am very calm and centered when by myself, I really enjoy being by myself. I am fine being with my husband and children but the thought of going out and being with other people makes my anxious and I tend to avoid social settings. I stay at home with my family most of the time. When I do meet with other people I have a nice time but always feel relief when the time to return home comes (or the time when others leave). I feel better at home.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

I feel ok. Actually, strong wind makes me feel safe.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

yes, I do

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

I am finding myself with lots of light sensivity and some disconfort in my eyes in daylight, outside. Strong noises unease me, too. I don't have trouble with smells, mainly because I usually have nasal congestion.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

no

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

I feel i got easily irritated and impatient with others' shortcomings. Most of the time I keep it to myself, but to my husband I tend to tell him about it. I

My fear is not having my child back with me again
I had some repetead dreams in war scenarios and apocalyptic scenarios

I crave eggs, dairy and salty foods
Right now I have aversion to oily foods and I rather not eat things like cake, bread or cookies, they feel dense and I am having an aversion to foods that are not nutrient-dense. I am always choosing very proteic and nutrient dense foods these days.

Going through a very unique family situation that not much people relate to.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
I took anthroposofic medicine when i had the big nose bleeding in january. It was to stabilize circulatory issues and help with preventing big bleedings and also to help with anemia. They worked well, I did not had another major bleed (only small ones that clot fast) and my anemic state was very much improved. I had much more energy after that treatment.
I took Phosphorus 200 2 weeks ago. Details above in first answer.
