looking for a homeopathic remedy for parkinsons
my elder brother aged 67 of short stature and very active till he developed what doctors say is Parkinsons since 4 yrs. symptoms include head bent forward,lack of facial expressions,slurred and slow speech,short term memory loss at times there is confusion,stiff left hand with some arthritic pain which he does not use,but tremors are missing....i have noticed that he is crying when he is happy which should behelpful in deciding remedy i hope.....[message edited by lil sis on Sat, 10 Aug 2013 06:30:34 BST]

Please take three doses of Cocculus 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).
day 1 morning
1st dose
day 1 evening
2nd dose
day 2 morning
3rd dose
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

started the dose on the 5th sept.....waiting to see the results.can i start giving my brother arnica or any other you would suggest between these fifteen days as his ct scan showed slight degeneration of brain cells

hello!i am back and it is fifteen days less 2 but i thought i should write the condition of my brother now....speech is slightly better as in continuous,.when asked he said thinking was slow before starting the medicine,now it has improved a lot....
also before he had a sudden urge to urinate which could not be controlled but now thats also much better
he still feels his left foot is weak and the pain in his left wrist and finger joints is worse....calls it artheritis and does not use his left hand due to pain
would like to know ext plan of action regarding medicne
also want kadwa's,R Flemming's and mr Joe De Livera's view on this case

howver i would like to bring to the attention to a complaint he's had since he was eighteen when he had a bad cold , his sense of smell was gone and then it was regained for a short period when some homeopath treated him....but then he lost it again ..it has been forty nine years now
he is also taking alopathi meds for heart and has 3 stents inserted since 2005
he has runny nose and watery eyes at times(says because of allopathic meds)
