Stop brestmilk expression

Hi,
I have a question - how to stop milk production?

I am expressing milk every 3-4 hours now and would like to stop in one month. I have shortened duration of each expression from 30 minutes to 20 minutes and 15 minutes but there is still the same amount of milk. I am taking Phytolacca one week now for brest and nipples pain.

I have read that Lac canium would help in such cases but only where now simptoms are present. Is it safe to use it when I have these pains and engorgements or not? What potency to use and how much a day and how many days?

Are there any other remedies that would help with that problem?

Do I still continue to express while taking these remedies (supply and demand)?

Thanks for help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Lac Can 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

You can do breast feeding as you wish after taking this remedy.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have just one question regarding medicine form: I can only get C200 in globules - does that mean that I take 2 globules as one dose?

Thanks for answer.

Yes 2 globules is a dose.

Also you can google La Leche League and they
have support worldwide, they will be able to
answer questions about this.

Hi,

6 days ago (on 18 and 19 Oct) I have taken Lac caninum C200 as you proposed. I still express milk every 4 hours. On the third day I have noticed slightly decreased amount of milk (I also have period at that time) but the next days raised again at the same level as before Lac caninum.
How long should I wait to see if Lac caninum is the right remedy for me?
If it won't work, what else do you suggest?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards.

Please take Lac Can 200 on alternate days for 10 days. 5 doses over 10 days.

A reminder, if this doesn't work, another option for arresting milk supply after weaning is Urtica Urens Q (mother tincture), 5-10 drops for 3-4 days.

Thank you very much.

Should I take 5-10 drops Urtica urens once a day?

Is that amount of alcohol harmful for child or not - that what comes through my milk?

I also read that homeopathic remedy Salvia officinalis is used for stopping milk production in combination with Urtica urens? The example was for dogs. In Materia medica says that Salvia off. is for galactorrhoea.
Do you have any information on that?

You are welcome.

Preferably, 5 drops in the morning and 5 in the evening.

Alcohol in it is negligible hence I don't think it can harm.

I am not aware of the use of Salvia Off for weaning.
