The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Various allergies.

Dear Dr.Zady,

My son Yohann regularly suffers from cold(sneezing with runny mucus literally coming out with force on his clothes and floor),accompanied with fever and red cheeks and nose.
He had breast milk until he was 1.3 yrs and was abruptly weaned as I was admitted to hospital for 14 days.during this time he was given cows milk and he reacted by vomiting, loose motions,a temporary red rash and his entire body turned limp.he reacted in the same way with formula feeds.Later we discovered that he was allergic to soya, nuts(except peanuts),eggs & dust mite during a allergy prick test.we tried alternative formula milk but he refused to take it due to a strong unpleasant smell.so we left it at that and he did not have any milk drink or supplements.

over the years he is now able to tolerate butter, cheese, ghee, yogurt and less quantity of boiled milk in his cereals.
he also eats well cooked eggs and eggs in cakes and biscuits.
Dust mites seems to be a problem still as he wakes up in the morning and sneezes well into the afternoon.we give him piriton for his allergic symptons.
However,he seems to be getting this colds often now which drain him out and also I am concerned about his height and weight for his age.He is underweight and has a fragile built.he also seems a lot shorter then girls and boys of his age.

Hi,

What is the color and character of the mucous? Is it like threads, ropy, etc?

How frequently does he get fever? And what is the range of Fever (in Fahrenheit)?

Does every sneezing and cold is accompanied by fever later?

Does the fever have a rapid onset or slow onset?

Does the body radiate heat, that is, it is so hot that you can feel it?

Any nausea/vomits during fever?
