rotavirus diarrhea
This diarrhea is going the rounds in colomboMy son 14 years has caught this virus
symptoms 1. Violent gushing watery diarrhea 2. sometimes burping is there 3.appetite ok 4. when diarrhea is stopped with anti diarrhea l drugs vomiting starts immediately
Doctors say antibiotics are not necessary. that it will run its course and will stop
podo 30,crot tig 30, verat alb 30 aloe 30 had no effect
ars/puls/nux 200 didn't help
Is there a solution in homeopathy for this condition

Put 5 pellets or 2 drops of Arsenicum 30 in small mineral water bottle, which is half full with water. Once pellets/drops dissolve, hit the opposite side of bottle 10 times against your other hand, and give one cap to your child.
Hit the bottle 10 times every time you give a cap.
Initially dose every 15 minutes to 30 minutes.

hey there you might also want to try coffee enemas, but if to strong for child at first, chamomile tea enemas administered at warm temps, while laying on the right side. It will help to stimulate the liver to produce gst which will clean the blood of any viruses or pollutants. Good luck with everything.

Matchstick remedy cures Diarrhoea
I would like to share my experience in the use of the Match Stick Remedy which I have used and prescribed for a multitude of stomach problems including Diarrhoea.
It comprises lighting a match with another held in the hand which is in turn ignited and doused immediately in a glass of water. This routine is repeated twice to make the remedy more effective. The water is the remedy and can be sipped every hour till the Diarrhoea or watery stools stop.
I have prescribed this remedy to many patients and they all confirm that within a few hours their diarrhea had stopped. Some of these patients had been prescribed antibiotics and other drugs by their doctors but they had failed to arrest the diarrhea which sometimes can only be cured by total abstinence from all food and drink and the patient is put on a IV drip.
Many patients also reported that they had slept very deeply after their dose of the remedy which they had taken shortly before sleep.
This match stick remedy has invariably worked in some miraculous manner I cannot understand and it can be used anywhere in the world even in the most remote jungle where you will not be out of reach of a box of matches.
It is my hope that anyone who uses this therapy will record his/her response on my website.

As suggested igave 5 drops Nux Vom Q one dose Dysentery immediately stopped Now his stools are normal
However his other symptoms continue. They are
persistent nausea
headache (frontal)
vomits food after a long time.
Yesterdays lunch was vomited this morning along with the other food he ate later
when he had dysentery the above symptoms go away immediately

bio combination 8 was also recommended,did you start it. it is toooo early t give solids at the moment,the stomach will not tolerate it.give very light food and if possible only liquids for a day or two.

He is now suffering from its after effects
1.He has 5/6 normal stools per day( could it be IBS)
2.Milk disagrees. Causes diarrhea

Yesterday our physician gave us some antibacterial and antiparasitic based treatment. What is the best treatment for her age? i've read that Ginger ale, the natural kind without added sugar, and carrot juice will reduce water in the stool.

i think you should give her two drops of nux vom 1x in an ounce of water ones and two pills of bio combination tabs 3 times a day, and give a feed back after two days.

To ktusda for your son if he still has diarrhea, I would withhold all dairy while healing. Dairy is VERY difficult for humans to digest as are grains, meat and complex carbohydrates.
If your son were mine, I'd give his stomach a rest and give him only the most digestible healthful things to eat leaning towards things like apple juice without extra sugar or white grape juice diluted with some good water. I'd also make a vegetable broth made from simmering fresh organic greens and maybe some garlic, and ginger and adding some kombu or sea vegetables and have him sip just the broth.
Slippery Elm is a mucilaginous herb that normalizes the digestive tract. I would give that between meals.
Lomatium Disectum, the brand I use is LDM-100 is a really strong herbal antiviral antibacterial antiparasitic which you could do as well if the diet change and the Slippery Elm isn't enough.
Doing the above would also help the homeopathic to work.
After a few days of the liquids I would gradually add in steamed vegetables and apple sauce.

Anti diarrhea l drugs are not given for viral diarrhea
Once she gets over it she will not get it again as the body will form resistance to the virus
