Cramps , a desire for boiled eggs and a MR Michelin figure are some of the symptoms.
Calc Carb is at the head of the class of remedies that are related to a hereditary tubercular family background.
Hypothyroidism is an underactive gland and can sometimes be stimulated by the glandular remedies. Particularly Pineal and Thymus. | | |

Dear Walkin
I am a hypothyroid (Hashimoto - Autoimmune) patient, my mother also suffers from the same ailment and my sister is a borderline hypothyroidism.....I had the opportunity to see a holistic doctor in michigan last month, and after a detailed examination, he concluded that there is nothing wrong with my thyroid, even though i have the blood readings as well as all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. I have been on allopathic(synthroid) and homeopathic drugs (Iodum, hypothyroidinum, tuberculinum bovinum, etc, etc) since last 5 years and nothing has cured me so far. All the above mentioned medicines have helped me temporarily, never cured me of my ailments. The holistic doctor has also mentioned something very interesting....i am having a severe deficiency of calcium, and all these problems are because of calcium deficiency. He has prescribed me to take 1500 mg of Coral Calcium in a 24 hours period with some Vitamin A,D,and E. My question is, should i go ahead and take the Coral Calcium and those vitamins, or take some homeopathic remedies for my calcium defiency, hypothyrodism, etc, etc
thanks & regards sazim | | |

The problem with using material doses of calcium in a case wher there is a low calcium content - is that the extra calcium reduces the GIT's ability to take calcium from the dietary throughput.
This acn happen with anaemia and Iron supplement .
Best thing would be to get some Calc Carb 3x [or 6x] and take morn and night for a period of 23 weeks . Then wait a further 23 weeks to judge results .
If beneficial only take more of the remedy when the condition returns. |
