Alzheimer's Stage 4 Help

My Mom is 74 and diagnosed last year. Wondering if there is anything I can give her to slow down progression.

She takes aricept and synthroid.

At first Dr. told us she has Thyroid issue and that was reason for short term memory loss.

She moved in with me and we found out 6 months later she has Alzheimer's Stage 4. She was misdiagnosed with the thyroid only.

She is Having trouble carrying out tasks that require multiple steps. She doesn't want to socialize. She is repetitive with questions. She gets suspicious, angry, and easily upset. She is constantly repacking things in her drawers , suit cases. She is always losing things. She wants to move back to her old home. Hygene is alright. She showers and dresses herself but I have to remind her. I am not too sure if she wipes herslef after using the restroom so she smells sometimes. I have to remind her to shower and I ask for her clothes to wash, I am lucky if there are clothes in the basket. usually just towels. She hides garbage in her room too. Steals things. etc.....

Is there a treatment to help her.

Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Will assist you if you couldn't find a good homeopath to treat her.
