Can ones constituational type change?

Question to the homeopaths out there:

Can ones constituational type change over the course of a few years (lets say 5 years)?

If a particular remedy is suggested, does the constitional type change further towards this particular type over the course of treatment?

Any views or opinions most welcome!

Thanks!

Remedies are based on current symptoms. When a
remedy is no longer giving you results, you could say,
if it was 'constitutional', that it had done the job and
that layer of you that required that remedy is now
healed. Everyone is different and things should always
be assessed in the present moment.

Thank you, Simone.

So if the current constitutional remedy does not seem to do the job now (it has previously healed some other ailments), one has to reconsider the current state and redetermine the next 'constitutional' remedy. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Any other opinions or thoughts?

That is right. Many things go in layers. You
do not have to think 'constitutional'

I think more in chronic or acute.
You can have a partial similar that takes off
many things . Then find a similar for what is left.

Even if people find a remedy that clears all -
5 years later they could need an entire other
remedy -not a good idea to 'identify' with
a remedy, they are just medicines matching a
disease state.

Thanks v. much again, Simone.

What about keeping with same remedy (if similars still point to same), but changing to a higher potency? Do you think this also could affect/treat other remaining and new layers?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Yes, this is normal practice in homeopathy.
