Mother having long term INSOMNIAHi,
My Mother aged around 53 yrs is suffering from long term Insomnia. She is having this problem from about 10 years now. And she has tried all kind of treatments but no permanent solution.
When she takes sleeping pills(Prescribed by allopathic Doctors) only then she could sleep for some hours(5-6 hrs). If she takes medicine arnd 10 pm, then she sleeps by 1-2 am till 7 am.
And now condition is so worsen that even those sleeping pills are not helping her to sleep.
When pills doesn't help much,Doctors are usually replacing the medicine with some other drugs or higher dose.
We know that these sleeping pills should not be taken for very long period but she cant help it.
She never sleeps in daytime as well.
She is also having constipation problem and that is also long term.
Please help us as now without proper sleep she is looking more under depression.
Please reply and I will provide more details if required any.

shouse_nsk 5 years agoThanks a lot, I will get hold of these medicines for her.
Just I would like to mention more problems/symptoms she is currently having-
1. Diabetes (currently in control but she have to take regular medicines to keep this under control).
3. Feels really low in energy level.
4. Constipation.(from 20 yrs)
Do we need to stop all medicines she currently taking for these problems including other drugs(sleeping pills).
Currently I am not living with mother being far away as per my job location and my dad is the only one in home who is taking care of her.
Without taking pills, she gets more depressed in night and used to cry (being only awake person at midnight).
We are very much attached to each other.
Please suggest something as being far away I am not able to console her much :( ..

gouravjain56 5 years agoRight now you can continue her other allopathy medicines.
If she feels better with homeopathy medicines, you can reduce the dose of sleeping pills. Your long term treatment of Thyroid and diabetes can continue.

Try these if there is no relief
1) Cimicifuga 30c 2-3 drops 3 times a day
2) Coffea Cruda 200c at night
Your mother should really feel better.

ssshandilya 5 years agoThanks for your help..
As of now started with Kali Phos 12x and sulphur 30 as prescribed above.
Will let you know after some days and if needed, after confirmation gonna try these.
gouravjain56 5 years agoHi,After 1 week treatment with Kali phos 6x and sulphur 30, my mother does not seems to show any impact on sleeplessness (without sleeping pills). However, she is feeling little bit relaxed and less depressive in daytime. And only after taking sleeping pills, she feels good to sleep in 1-2 hours so. (Improvement- 20% !!)
We really want her to stop taking sleeping pills(allopathy).
So need to know, if she can continue with that treatment or can try another suggested one.
1. Coffea cruda 200c
2. Cimicifuga 30c.
Also need to confirm about second one. I have checked that cimicifuga 30c generally applies to child birth related problems. Is it good to go with it.

You can give her Coffea Cruda-30 and not Cimicifuga
Now the revised treatment will be
1. Kali Phos 12x 3 pallets twice a day
2. Coffea Cruda-30 6 pills twice a day
Pl keep gap of 30-40 minutes in 1 and 2
3. Sulphur-30 6 pills at bed time
PL take this treatment for 15 days and then give feedback
