Dizziness/Presyncope when driving

I have mild dizziness and vertigo during regular times, but the moment I get behind the wheel of a car, it gets worse.

feel sort of like being drunk, tension in the head and feeling like I might pass out. But I havent so far.

But its very scary forcing me to drive on roads where I can get off quick if I need to.

Any remedies?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I am surprised that your do not seem to realise that you MUST NOT DRIVE in your present condition.

You are not only endangering your OWN LIFE but you are also endangering the lives of other motorists and all who use the roads.

You are advised to consult a doctor who can diagnose the cause of your Vertigo IMMEDIATELY and take the drugs necessary to treat it.

DO NOT DRIVE in your present condition.

Well, how would one know if they can drive, unless they drive?

Im not an idiot I dont drive much at all and never at night. and only on side streets.

And I go through periods where I have no problem at all.

Must take drugs? Do you know what they are? 'here is something to take while driiving, take two and call me in the morning'

I dont know of anything like that, that is why Im here

Hi again,

You need to fill out this form-
http://www.abchomeopathy.com.forum2.php/188925
so someone can get the needed facts and make a prescription.

Sometimes when people get vertigo and they never had it-
they need to be checked out for all kinds of things, if the
tests are negative, then they get a seasickness medicine like
Bonine- ( are you in usa? you can get
this otc at CVS -see if it works for you.) The vertigo, if
tests are negative can be something as simple as having some
micro drop of water on a hair of the inner ear.

You have this off and on. All of this has to do with vision issues
or inner ear issues , usually. Fill out the form and please include
if you have had your eyes checked, etc recently.
