Patient ID: Sex: Female Age: 43

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering? I am having some backpain, similar to when I get UTI infection or menses or digestion issues.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? . I have a constant bad taste in my mouth. Also feeling nausea and very bloated in mid section like when I have my period. Also feeling headaches and indigestion for about a week, feeling gassy and can sometimes hear my intestines digesting.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? Having trouble going to sleep or staying asleep. Sometimes I feel my heart racing and a sudden palpitation (usually at nite).

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? I fell very nauseous,a little dizzy, like a want to throw up or like a have a severe inflammation in my mid section – similar to the worse cramps you can get when you have your period (menstrual symptoms) or like the cramping from H. Pylori (which I have had in the past.)

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? I think I have felt this in the past usually when going through my menses. It can last a day or two at most but this time it started with back pain about 6 days ago and other symptoms have just added on since then.

6. Which time of the day you are worst? By the end of the day.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same? Applying heat seems to provide some comfort but eating seems to sometimes aggravate it by making me then feel the indigestion symptoms on top of the back pain. But, if I don;’t eat I feel like I have stomach acid churning.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? - I feel like it’s related to menses but to a greater extent and longer duration (6 days). I am being tested for perimenopause by my doctor. I haven’t gotten those test results back. I sometimes wonder if my tubal ligation (essure procedure) is causing or aggravating my symptoms.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? - I feel better in cool & dry weather (like the fall).

10. Describe your general mental set up? - Pretty happy person but when problems arise I give a lot of thought to my problems or the problems of others and can easily lose sleep when I have things on my mind.
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? - I would say that before a thunderstorm I feel a little anxious but feel fine once they have passed. But I think they are awesome to see and hear.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? -- Sometimes, but not always. I find it is easier for me to console others. I am not a hugger (except for my kids and my hubby – those hugs are magic!)

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? Not too much although I am very sensitive to certain smells (like certain perfumes). I can not sleep in a brightly lit room.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless weeping, talking to one self etc? No.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I love them dearly and feel blessed to have them. But, also at times I can feel overwhelmed by the demands of being a mom & wife. Will feel like a need a break from them (maybe just a couple of hours or so).

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? My biggest fear is not being around for my children (my father died when I was 12 and my mother passed away when I was 18).. No constant dreams.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions? I crave salty stuff (like potato chips). I also crave chocolate at around 3pm (but lately it is affecting my stomach if I it eat). I don’t like Liver (heavy meats) or anything dripping in oil or too smelly (like cauliflower).

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? Normal. But , I MUST drink water before going to sleep at nite.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Normal.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? Oily, greasy. Lately lettuce seems to be causing indigestion.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? Normal. Although I sometimes feel hot in the middle of the night.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? Irregular lately… sometimes constipated then very soft stool (almost diarrhea). I can hear my bowels churning.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I have a hard time going to sleep sometimes and am a very light sleeper. If a wake up in the middle of the night it is hard for me to go back to sleep. I usually sleep on my back or to my right side.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? Pretty much, pretty active with my husband. But no interest if I am tired.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all? I am not one who can easily hide what I am feeling. Ie. If I am having a bad day, it will be noticeable.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication? I had a bout of H. Pylori about 3-4 yrs ago went on the antibiotics regimen. But, ever since then I feel my digestive system has become very sensitive.

22. What major diseases are running in your family? My father died of esphogeal/ stomach tumor (due to his job he worked in an oil refinery) and my mom died of Leukemia (but no one else I know of had it). I have been told some family members had heart disease.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
I am 43 yrs old, I am 5 foot 1 inch tall and weigh about 132 lbs. Have black hair (starting to grey), brown eyes and olive skin completion. Just a little flabby in some places (thighs , arms & midsection) but not fat. I wear a size 6 in summer maybe a 8 in the winter. People always tell me I look younger than my age - like I am in my thirties not forties.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Pulsatilla 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thanks so much for your quick response. Just one question Is this Pulsatilla Nigricans 200C or 200X? Trying to order online but not sure of the dosage.

Also - symptoms seem to have gotten ALOT better since yesterday, so it appears my episode lasted about a full week.

I'll report back as soon as I start the dosage and complete the 15 days.

I took the Nigricans 200C, symptoms were alleviated. thank you!! My only concern is that it seems to be related to menses. Should I talk this again if it reoccurs or is there something I can take regularly during that time of the month to aleviate menstrual symptoms in general? Thanks for your input..

Pulsatilla 200 should be taken in 3 doses whenever you have symptoms. This should not be repeated within 15 days. If symptoms persist after taking Pulsatilla 200 or recur within 15 days, you should take Magnesia Phosphorica 200C in the morning and evening for 2 days.
