Urgency, frequency & dribbling of Urine
I am 70 years old presently living in Saudi Arabia. By the Grace of Almighty God I do not suffer from high blood pressure or diabetes, but tests conducted by a Urologist confirmed that my prostate gland is moderately enlarged.(32 gms). There was a small stone in the ureter but the ultrasound report now confirmed that the stone is no longer there. After passing urine after the ultrasound test, the residual urine was significant (136 ml). The bladder does not empty fully and the stream of urine is slow. Apart from increased frequency, (getting up 3 to 4 times at night to pass urine) the urgency is such that most of the time I must reach the toilet quickly otherwise some drops will ooze out probably due to weak sphincter or perhaps urge incontinence. The problem of leakage (dribbling) is now more frequent.kindly advise an appropriate homeopathic medicine to cure this worrying problem and oblige. The Urologist advised me to either take allopathic medicine for life or get myself operated for prostectomy. I would not like to follow his advice due to numerous side effects. I firmly believe that Homeopathic medicines can permanently cure almost all diseases.

I suggest you to take CAUSTICUM 30c 5 pills twice a day morning & evening for about ten days.
Additionally when you go to pass urine in the day time try to stop the stream on & off during passing it, this will train your lazy muscles to become active to retain the urine.
Eat about a handful of Roasted black gram with skin on (BHUNA HUA KALA CHANA CHILKE KE SAATH) before going to bed but do not drink water after it.Just rinse your mouth & sleep.It absorbs additional water in stomach.

daktersaab thank you indeed for your prompt response. please note that in the past i have already tried causticum 30, equisetum, digitalis, chimaphila, conium, thuja, sabal and cantaharis but with no benefit. kindly advise.

In such a case you need to take a dose of Syphilinum 200c give a gap of three days & then start CAUSTICUM 30c Two times a day & other suggestions to be followed

As advised I took a dose of Syphilinum 200 and after a gap of 3 days took Causticum 30 for 10 days. Should I continue with this or daktersaab will advise another remedy.

I have actually tried all the medicines prescribed so far but urgency, frequency and dribbling of urine. I know when urine drops are released uncontrolled. However I try to stop it but cannot control. I am very worried about this problem and would appreciate your expert advice in this respect.
I also have catarrh often with shortness of breath, coughing and constant discharge of thick sputum (phlegm).

Daktarsaab I forgot to mention I am also suffering from Erectile Dysfunction for the last couple of months. Prior to that I was quite normal.
Furthermore I have catarrh with shortness of breath continuous and profuse discharge of thick sputum (phlegm) every time I cough.

I would suggest you to stop all med for 2 days & then take ONLY one dose of SULPHUR 200c 5 pills Give a clear gap of another two days & start Taking HYDRANGIA Q 10 drops in quarter cup of water three times a day for a week & then let us know. God willing you will see the improvement.

I took exactly what you advised and took HYDRANGIA Q for more than a week now. Instead of controlling the frequency it increased considerably with no change in urgency or dribbling of urine. In fact, uncontrolled leakage of urine drops during day time has increased. I also wake up at night 2 to 3 times to pass urine. I shall look forward to your further advice.

It is now more than 3 weeks since you wrote to me. I hope you have had the time to study my case. Since I wrote to you I have now also developed severe neck pain on the left side of the neck which allopathic doctor suspects as spondilytis. I also have arthritis pain in my knees. In any case I am more concerned about the urgency and uncontrolled dribbling of urine. My chest is also full of thick phlegm which comes out with each cough. I could often hear the sound of mild wheezing. My wife says I snore and talk during sleep. I shall look forward to hear from you.

with due respect to all good intentioned advisors here, I see most of the answers as hit-n-trial and do not justify any one escaping answering after few guesses, this is misleading...I have seen many patients dropping out because of hit and trial prescribing and if some got cured Yes taking credit for it....this is how most of the practitioners doing not telling the real truth that homeopathy has no evidence and doesnot necessarily cure...I do believe Homeopathic Remedies do work, I am not against it, but I am not for some commercial...
