almost 2 year old recovering from croup
My almost 2 year old daughter is recovering from croup. Her fever has been gone for over a week and she no longer has the seal-like bark.It has been two weeks and she is still coughing. However, her cough is a tighter sounding cough. She has a runny clear nose. She has almost no symptoms in the day except for the runny nose. She seems relatively happy. She is very affectionate and has a great sense of humor. When she gets cranky, she tends to ask for something and change her mind several times whether she wants it or not.But at night, she has trouble sleeping due to the cough. SHe woke up an hour after sleep and coughed and began to projectile vomit. It is not that she is coughing hard, it seems more like a gag reflex. I feel like the mucous gets caught in her throat when lying down. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.jazmine7 on 2012-12-18
