Scar tissue on scalp

My daughter aged eight, has a 12cm long scar from her forehead going inward into scalp. Its about one centimeter broad. She had an injury a year and a half ago. At first we thought that the other hair would cover it, but this is not the case. I have heard alot about you so I thought of asking you whether there is anything to apply so that the hair can grow again. Of course, medically, the hair follicle is damaged so nothing can be done beside scar revision. I dont want her to go through that since she is suffering from something like post traumatic stress disorder due to the accident.
Please help and advice
