what to do when child is affected from bronchitis very frequently, also he has a allergy problem having cough and cold very frequently what do do regarding his health. every time i have to give him antibiotic , his cough becomes hard in his chest.ridhimaawasthi on 2012-10-08

Please look for any food allergy. Most common with such kids are allergy to milk. For a week or two completely stop milk if possible and see how the condition is.

sir if i will stop milk than what i can give in substitute of that b'coz already he is week. regarding his details
age- 4 yrs
sex-male
place india-bhopal
food- morning -milk
tiffin- paratha and vegetable and 1 sweet
lunch- daal and roti
evening -milk and 1 apple
night- daal chaawal or roti sabji
only simple food i am giving.
he has severe cough allergy problem
speacially in the change of season.

Cough seems to be the primary problem now. Please give Drosera 30, two pellets. Two hours after this, give Nux Vomica 30, two pellets. Write back the next day. Let us get well with his cough episode and then will suggest medicine to prevent recurrance.

My son again has a severe problem of cough ,a lot of cough is generated in his body and then he vomits at night with irritation in his throat please help which medicine should I give to him in cough allergy problem

Hi Reva can help you with the allergies and medicines.
For now tho- please get him a sterile salt water nose
spray- No medicated ones- just simple salt water.
This will soothe the nose and sinus tissue. When that
is not irritated due to allergy- then NO mucous will
form. If no mucous forms then there will be no cough
or bronchitis.
The spray keeps pollen and germs out of the nose,
and dust- and you can use this often as you want-
what happens is you will need it less and less. If he
has allergies to pollen, dust, etc- mucous starts to
run down the back throat sinus passages- he may
not even feel it- but that is how it gets into the chest.
